Weight Gain!!

April 16, 2009

When I signed up for the 2009 Transformation Contest, my goal was to gain 20lbs. If I stay on track like planned,  I will be up 22lbs the day I take my final pictures. I forgot I set that goal and really just set it way above what I thought I could do. I am almost there and never thought I would be so close to such an extreme goal. There have been a couple bumps along the way and they have slowed me down but now I am pumped to gain these last couple pounds and prove to myself and everyone around me that it can be done and my body isn’t ready to quit lifting hard yet!!!!

3 Weeks In!!

February 27, 2009

So its been roughly three weeks now that I have been back in the gym. I am finally feeling like I used to and its great. I get in there and start lifting and when I am finished I still feel pumped even though I killed myself. I have gained 2" in my chest, 1" in my shoulders, and 1/2" in my arms. I am at 175lbs right now so only 25 more pounds to go till I am happy. Summer is quickly approaching so its time to start really eating!! Like always, I haven’t noticed any physical changes but people around me are saying I’m already looking a little bigger so WOO HOO!! Tomorrow is a crazy leg day then my 11 hour shift at work, this should be interesting.

1st Day Back

February 2, 2009

Well, its been a year off recovering from a couple herniated discs. I feel like the muscle-tech transformation contest is my time to get back in shape. My first workout was today and I swear it feels like injury is lurking in the shadows. I kept it light and everything went fairly well. The injury affected the right side of my upper body so the difference in power is amazing. I could prob jump right back into crazy weight with my left arm but the right is super weak. Oh well, I will be back in full soon enough!!
