Don’t fall for the Egg White International Scam

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

Egg Whites International has a bird dog program.  Or in other words a commission based incentive paid to people who get others to purchase from them.  So if someone recommends them make sure you do the math first.

I finally did the math.  2 gallons of egg whites from Egg Whites International $58.00 plus $14.00 shipping and handling. That’s a total of $72.00 or you can buy them from BB.com for $68.00.  Locally,  I can buy 100% egg whites in 32oz containers, which are much more user friendly for $3.56.  Thats $28.48 for 2 gallons!!!!  What a dumb ass I am for ordering from Egg White International.

Hope this will help some of you save some cash.

“Overtraining”

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

At 7 weeks out I’m way ahead of were I was last year. I actually think I’m about 2 weeks out.  However, I’ve devolped a lot of overtraining signs.  Both my shoulders are killing me all the time, my right hip abductor muscle as been sore for over a week, tendinitis in my elbows and wrist hurt like hell with every workout, a pinched nerve that is making my right arm numb and I feel a sinus infection coming on.

The plan is to keep eating clean this weekend,  but lay off the cardio until Monday.  Hopefully I can get a lot of rest somehow over this holiday weekend.  Thay maybe tough being that I’m going out of town with my family to an indoor water park. lol  At least it should be a great time.  Just conserned with the food thing.  Not afraid of cheating but just on getting clean food at the time I need it.  Planning on packing as much as possible for back up.

Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!

Pre contest training starting today

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Cardio YUCK!  Starting my cardio today,  it’s time to get ripped.  I probably only have about 8 lbs to loose, thanks to my clean eating.  Actually I’m looking forward to it.  I’ll try to take some progress pix, so that everyone will be able to see my progress up until show time.

RADIO INTERVIEW TOMORROW MORNING

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Thanks to BB.com I’m doing a radio interview tomorrow morning at 9:10.  About the BB.co and Natural bodybuilding in general.

It’s been a great week.  Thanks everyone for all your support.  It’s been a bit overwhelming but much appreciated.

Thanks Again,

Rob

THANKS BODYBUILDING.COM

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

Thanks so much for featuring me as the amateur of the week.  The feedback from everyone has been overwhelming.  What a great way to start 2008.  Your site has truly been an essential motivational tool for me and many others.

Thanks Again

THE SEASON IS OVER! CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

After 5 contest this year,  I’m looking forward to putting some quality size back on.

Every contest was truly a great experience.  The great people I meet a long the way was truly worth all the hard work.  Natural Bodybuilding is alive and strong in New York.  The last contest I did,  the NYS Natural.  I ment so many amazing people pushing the healthy live style of Natural Bodybuilding.  For example I ment Ian Kelley from Vermont,  the creater of OrganicBodyBuilding.com.  He has inspired me to go Organic with my diet.  His book "The Organic Body" is a must read for anyone concerned with a healthy diet.

I also ment and competed against Rolando Amorium from the Boston area.  You can check out his site :www.musclesculpture.com.  What a fun guy to be around.  This guy drove a convertible for what must have been at least a 6 hour drive in 40 degree temps. lol  Then he tops it all off with his posing routine,  which included a fat suit and a K of C bucket of chicken.  He went on to transform from a K of C lovin fat guy into who he is now.  A ripped Natural heavy weight.

Natural Bodybuilding has become a brotherhood of men and women,  were the last thing on most of thier minds is which trophy they get.  Everyone is willing to help one another out with everything from diet advice to tanning prep.  I urge anyone thinking of competing in 2008,  to compete in the OCB or USBF.  Just do it you ‘ll be happy you did.

 Until next time

Not even a piece of bread in 9 months

Saturday, October 13th, 2007

In 3 weeks I will be done with my last two contest of the year.  Then it’s on!  The feed bag that is!

I was just talking to some co-workers an figured it out.  I haven’t had a piece of bread in over nine months.  Worst it’s been over a year since my last beer.  Wow!  I really don’t have any crazy cravings.  However, it will be nice to go out to dinner with my girlfriend and not worry about,  what I can find on the menu that I can eat.  I can’t wait until the pressure is finally off at least for a little while.

I’m sure I’ll pig out after the show,  then of course I’ll feel sick for a couple days. lol  Like a puppy with his tail between his legs I’ll run rite back to pre contest diet. lol

4 and 5 weeks out

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

I’m in the final 5 weeks of pre-contest training for the year.  I’m doing two shows back to back in hopes of getting that pro card before the end of the year(Empire Natural and NYS Natural).  This will be five shows this year.  I must be F@#$ nuts.  I got the fever I guess.

LEG DAY WITH A PINCH SCIATIC

Monday, September 10th, 2007

Had to lighten up a little with my squats but not a bad day.

5 sets extentions

5 sets squats standard

3 sets wide squats supersetted close stance squats until failure

5 sets ham curls supersetted with leg extension until failure each set

3 sets seated calf raises

3 sets standing calf raises

The only exercise I couldn’t do was lunges. Killed my sciatic! I went heavy on leg presses last week since then it’s been bothering me. Hopefully, it will correct itself.  It felt great at the gym but now it’s singing. lol I hate to throttle down, but I did today.
