CONTEST PREP

This week I have upped my cardio to an 1 hour a day,  which really has made a difference.  My glutes and quads are striated.  I have veins popping out all over.  It’s getting really gross.  lol  My diet has been perfect.  I have increased my protein intake slightly.  Just to make sure I don’t loose muscle.  I won’t need to carb deplete,  that’s for sure.  I am still planning on sodium loading the week before.  Monday I’ll start tanning,  which I’m not looking forward to.  Just going to make my day a little longer.  I’m also going to start working on my routine.  Anyone have and ideas for music?  I have been trying to put something together,  but it’s still not set in stone. 

I’ll keep everyone posted.

It’s a go!

Less then a month to go until the 2007 Liberty State Natural Bodybuilding Champ.  Got all registered on Friday and just made my hotel reservations today.  Got some new posing trunks and the pro tan is on it’s way.  I’m pumped and on track. 

The competition should be tuff in the Master Div. ,  being that it’s a pro qualifier.  I do know, I won’t be beat by anyone more shredded.  I’m ripped up now with still a month off cardio and dieting to go.  My glutes and legs are striated.  Veins popping out all over.  Almost gross at times. lol  Just hope I have enough muscle size to compete.  I haven’t lost any muscle size,  but I’m still pretty small for open weight class.

Hospital stays continue

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

For the past two weeks I’ve been in and out of the hospital.  I have an adhesion on my small intestine,  that is twisting the intestine,  blocking it.  Hurt’s like a hell.  I’ll probably need surgery at some point.  It’s making training hard,  if not impossible. 

I’m trying to take it in stride,  but I may have to put of the May 12th show.  I’m down to 176 lbs today and was down to 172 lbs on Saturday in the hospital.  Hopefully with a little luck,  I’ll be able to put the weight back on soon.
