BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST

I’m down to 261 lbs but would probably be further along if I could find the time to run, my diet is doing good watching the late nite carbs and just trying to intake enough protein so I don’t lose muscle size. I have a 1 and 2 yr old so my time with them is a lot more important to me than the running. I’m going to hopefully get on a schedule to run early in the morning or my lunch hour. Just don’t be around if its on my lunch hr eewwww  wee what a smell. I’ll give more details later when I have time.

BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST

Yesterday 5 of us guys decided to do the biggest loser contest at work. Actually I was suprised that I got the guys to join that joined, but am glad they did. We had a total weight of 1199 lbs with me being the heaviest at 267 and the lightest was 202, Oh Mike. I am also the tallest at 6′6" and have the most muscle so I didn’t feel to bad being only 30 lbs heavier since I probably have 6" on the other guys. We are all around the 40 yr old mark except Jose he is the "pup" as we say he’s 28 and a soda drinker. The contest only last a little over a month so I am going to give it everything I can to drop some serious weight just in case the other guys give up. They haven’t said what the prize is for the winners so it’s like a bonus when they do decide.

THE PLAN

 I going to up my cardio by running more since the weather is nice now in the mornings and I will probably do my weight training by cutting my rest periods down quite a bit to get some cardio there by raising my heart rate. I am looking to drop down to 250 lbs in this time frame and believe I can do it by eating lean and staying away from late night meals and if I keep my protein intake around the same as I aways have I shouldn’t lose any of my muscle size. My ultimate size is to get to about 235 lbs and around 10% bf, I got to 238 once but I didn’t have the muscle on me I do now so I think it will be a big difference in looks ( I hope). Any how heres the start of something that ought to be fun doing and the results well worth all the hard work.

TRYING TO CUT POUNDS

At 40 yrs old I’m having a hard time shedding the pounds, plus the fact that I like food. I work out every morning for a 1 hr and then do 15 to 20 min of cardio. And I just seem to maintain. I’m about to switch to running every other day about 2 miles and I hope that helps. I do good during the week but then the week end comes and boom I blow it. I’m don’t want to lose any size but love to get down to about 230 lbs, which I’m about 263 now. Here’s to will power.
