Ate like a pig yesterday.  Well, my indulgences are finally starting to show.  Saw a small ripple of fat clinging to my inner thighs, very reminiscent of the near past.  I don’t care if it isn’t New Year’s Day.  Who says resolutions need to wait till then.  No more, no more. NO MORE!  I am back on track as of today.  If anyone knows of a really great maintainance diet, shoot me an email,, would ya?  I am ready. In 2008 my body will  surpass its own boundaries. Beware all you competitors out there.  The competition is going to get rough!

I have one week exactly before I go for the big win. Title coveted, Ms. Bikini Classic America.  Location, Los Angeles.
Competition - tough. What can happen if I win? Oxygen Magazine cover, sponsorship, a commercial agent, lotsa publicity, and I beat my own goals. On my way to a tough workout. Legs and Ab.  Later in the day, stairmaster and bike. Are you with me? Let’s go put it to it.

Feeling Good

Worked out a lot the past few days.  Really energized.  My body is constantly changing, challenging me with little imperfections I want to transform.  I love seeing the change, but it is tough!  Hope I keep this up even after I meet my goal…which I will meet!  Till then, all I can think is, work that body!

Okay, so I achieved my first goal.  i have two more: one regarding going to Italy in a month or so, the other entering a competition in October.  But somehow I feel deflated.  Maybe because I realize i’ve still got some hard, hard work to do and I’m so tired!  But I do love it…this insanity of building up your body and your confidence.  Have a good one.

worn out!

Been working out twice a day, every day for two weeks now and I definitely see a huge improvement, but yesterday I just pooped out completely.  I’m taking off a couple of days to let my body rest and repair from the grind. I keep forgetting that the approriate amount of rest is imperative for good muscle and heart health.  I unveil at a pool party this Saturday.  Wish me luck!

Went to the doctor’s today and he weighed me in ( I was too scared to do so myself).    He was really proud of me.  Two months ago I was nine pounds heavier.  Worked out real hard with my trainer, Marco.  Wow!  You just can’t motivate the same way without someone really putting the pressure on you that way - at least I can’t.  And I thought I could be pretty tough!  Anyway, Marco challend me to lose five more pounds this week.  It’s number one on my list of priorities.  Will report back another day.  Nighty, night.

Saw a friend I hadn’t been around in ages at a pool party.  She was always someone I aspired to look like physically.  She’s more toned and cut up than ever!  Now if that’s not got my competitive edge going I don’t know what will!

This is the first day of the rest of my life.  Just met with my trainer-to-be.  That got me going for sure.  Worked out hard on the  elliptical and plan to work on a water dance routine later in my pool. Can’t wait to start seeing the changes!
