WHY DO WE DO IT.. TO BECOME A PHYSICAL SPECIMENT
So I’m sitting in my office and I get off in 20 mins. To lift. I’m watching the video I have on my page the bodybuilding is a lifestyle one. And i’m thinking to myself I wish one day I reach my goals. Then it hits me I never will. None of us true to the sport will ever reach our goals because our goals are always to be better; it’s a never ending battle. A battle to reach a perfection that once accomplished a new perfection will be made. A new standard of what is big and what is lean. So with this in mind I ask myself why?? Is it that never ending challenge, is it to get more ass this summer, is to be bigger NOPE. Sure we all do it for a little bit of the looks the health and so on….. but us true savages lift because we have to, to survive in society because with out bringing our self to a muscle tearing exhaustion everyday we would go nutz, people would drive us nutz, we lift because we have instilled it into or genetics to move amounts of weight that shouldn’t be moved by anyone. We don’t do it to look like the skinny kid with abs lol…. We do it because we all want to be a PHYSICAL SPECIMENT…We want to walk by you and have you say omg that’s not normal looking, he’s ****in huge, he must eat small animals then go lift for 3 hours hahahah.. That’s why I do it… LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF BEING JACKED OUT MY MIND……DO WORK, BECOME A PHYSICAL SPECIMENT.

Interesting blog. It is true, we are always pushing ourselves to be better at something, whether it is physical, mental, spiritual….but then there is always another level. There is no true perfection because there will always be room for improvement. I set my goals so that at some point I will reach them, I enjoy that "high" for a few moments in time, then I push and set higher goals to strive after once more. Physically I have tried out with the Olympic bball team (Canadian..long time ago), I have raced mountain bikes and now I will compete in a fitness competition. What will I do when I reach my 50’s…..not sure yet, but I will definately have some kind of goal to strive after…..Peace. J~

eat small animals… haha that cracked me up. I like the way you put it, "we lift because we have instilled it into or genetics to move amounts of weight that shouldn’t be moved by anyone" well put.
