Man, these things aren’t really going all that bad. I’m still doing them every hour on the hour that I’m awake. This morning, I got up at 6AM, and began the day with 30 push-ups….that has continued all the through the day…..up until I hit the sack at midnight.
Like I said before, it’s going to be interesting come tomorrow when I bench press and see how it goes…
Until tomorrow bodyspace….

Hey gang,
The lower-body workout today was very intense. I focused on doing reverse barbell lunges off of a step-up box to work that positive shin angle. (The explosive portion of the running form…..) and I can really feel it. Squats, deads, my legs are dying….
But they get to rest until Friday, so I’ll quit complaining.

So apparently, my co-workers think that I’m a total retard…..nothing new there, except it’s for doing push-ups at random times in the day…..Man, it’s really hard to stay on top of things with that, but sacrifices must be made. They don’t feel all that bad, as a matter of fact, they’re kinda aiding my recovery from my bench press workout yesterday…..esp. the stretch at the bottom….
I still have to do my lower-body workout, which I’m about to complete shortly after this post, but things are all good. I’ll write that in later this evening….
Until then, bodyspace, Keep it movin’!

Hey guys, those push-ups from yesterday came back and in the words of Dave Chappelle, "whooped my monkey @ss." I could barely manage to do four reps with 225 on my bench press workout today. However, I did have some great lifts in my supplemental/assistance muscle groups. Hammer Curling 40lb. dumbbells for ten reps was HUGE!
Tomorrow, it’s back to the push-ups again, on top of my lower-body workout. YIKES! (I sure hopes this pays off, otherwise, we might be trying something a little different.) Anyways, I gotta run and get something to eat in my system, gotta train, eat, grow you know?
Keep it movin’ Bodyspace!

Hey guys, BC Bound here with another entry into the ol’ bodyblog. A friend of mine here, who by the way, has an unearthly bench press, (Yeah, I’m talking about you athead….) suggested that I try a workout program that he uses to increase his muscular endurance for the 225 Bench Press test.
What it entails is me doing 30 push-ups on every hour of the day that I’m awake….but only on non-bench pressing days. Sunday being a non-bench pressing day, was the first day. Let me tell you, I’ve never done so many push-ups in a 24hour period in my life! I was doing push-ups at church, at home, everywhere! With two more sets before I go to bed, I’ve already done 450! Just today! My chest is going to get huge in no time, along with my arms……I can hardly wait…..
Until tomorrow, here’s to Mondays!

Hey guys,
The workouts today went very well. In the arm workout, I pushed myself to the limit, and felt really energized afterwards. The afternoon sprint workout was grueling, due to the cold weather. It was about 50-degrees here today, and that made me take some extra precautions as to not pull a muscle.
Tommorow, it’s back to the 225 bench press workout and upper-body session, (man, that workout keeps coming around fast! I’ve barely recovered from the last one…..) but and some plyometric training. Gotta be able to reach for the sky!
Until then bodyspace, Keep it movin’!

Hey guys,
I have gotten a TON of support from people here on this site, people I meet in the street and all over. Take for instance, Monday, I made a quick stop in a local GNC, where I met Raffi and Rhammi, these two guys who were former footballers, who gave me a great deal of their precious time knowledge to help me get to my goal. Raffi even gave me a customized diet plan to follow to aid me in gaining the last ten pounds I’m searching for….
Here it is, so you can see it, and in case I lose the original copy myself…LOL!
Meal 1 - Breakfast - 8 egg whites, 2 yolks (hardboiled); 1 cup of oatmeal.
Meal 2 - Post A.M. Workout - 2 servings of Protien powder of choice.
Meal 3 - A.M. Snack - 1 can of Tuna. (ChickenTuna will like that……)
Meal 4 - Lunch - Grilled Chicken Salad and Sandwich
Meal 5 - P.M. Snack- Bagel and Apple with 2 servings of Protien Powder of choice
Meal 6 - Dinner - Chicken Breast, Fish or Steak (10oz.); steamed vegatables, whole wheat pastas.
Meal 7 - Late Night Snack - Fruit Bowl; PB&J on a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel.
Meal 8 - 1 serving of Protien powder of choice.
So there you have it, the missing piece to the puzzle for me…..I’m going to put these last 10lbs. ASAP, get my body used to carrying it around, and go from there…..

Hey gang,
My weight training session was great today, got some quality work in. Like I said before, these workouts are becoming all the more important as each day passes. Unfortunately, I was unable to get my sprinting workout in, because there was a girl’s soccer match going on where I run routes and do my sprint work. Oh well, I’ll just get it in tomorrow.
I’m feeling really good about where I am right now, and the progress that I’ve made. I’m getting ready to put on these last few quality pounds, while maintaining and improving my flexibility…..that way, I’m bigger and more explosive…..
Until tomorrow, keep it movin!

Hey gang,
Today’s workout was an intense one. I had only three hours of sleep before it, and I was not in the best of sorts when I hit the gym floor this morning. However, I did manage to get the job done and do my workout, realizing that each run/lifting session is vital to overall success or failure of my tryout. The bench press workout was still a killer, but I’m sure it will be until the very end……that’s to be expected.
Thanks to all of you for your kind words, and I when I hit the field on May 5th, you’ll all be there with me in spirit. (I sure hope you can all play football, otherwise, this might get difficult for me, LOL!) But seriously, I really do appreciate all the support.

Hey Bodyspace,
If you’re in the Michigan area, didn’t we have some awesome weather today? I had two great workouts, an AM lifting session, and an INTENSE sprint workout session in the afternoon after work….Both were incredible, the working out in the morning really gets me energized and ready to go to work….while the sprints were great to do outside and get rid of the little bit of cabin fever that I might’ve had at the moment…..
Tomorrow’s my special Arms Blitz, emcompassing shoulders, bis, tris, and forearms…..should be a blast. I can’t wait to tell you about it!
Until then, keep it movin’!
