Hey Bodyspace!
Big news today, I hit my goal for the bench. I pressed 315lbs. with no spot! I feel GREAT! There was a moment where I wasn’t sure if I was going to hit, but the adrenaline kicked in and I got through the lift. Oh yeah, I did do an upper-body workout too. It of course went well, as I was riding off the high of hitting 3 plates on the bench.
Tomorrow’s lower body day, so I’ll go in and see what kind of weight I can put up on my Squat and Deadlift tomorrow.
Until then bodyspace…….Keep it Movin’

Hey Bodyspace,
I had a really GOOD workout this afternoon! My arms are feeling such an incredible pump right now, it’s great. I was really focusing on the negatives in each rep, fighting the weight back to the start position. Man, it feels great!
The runs from earlier weren’t that bad, and I still have great body control in my routes. I’m thinking about joining a flag football league over the winter to get myself some more work against coverage. But that’s another thing one the wish list.
Tomorrow is chest back and core day…..a little bit more intensive. So I’m looking foward to it. Got to keep the workouts coming, because THIS, right here, is where it all gets decided…..
Until tomorrow bodyspace……Keep it movin’

Hey Bodyspace,
I had a really good leg workout. The front squats and power cleans were definately intense, and made me push myself to the limit. Mu core workout today was also quite solid, and I’m really starting to gain some definition in the abs.
The runs today weren’t too bad, mostly agility-based. But I must say that the portion of the workout that I’m the most worried about is the 300yard shuttle run. It’s a beast, because of the change of direction. Oh well, I’ve still got plenty to time for that to develop, and as long as I keep doing my tempo runs, it’ll get there.
Tomorrow is a special arms only day, to bring up those lagging bodyparts. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m all chest and shoulders, no upper arms. LOL! Not for long, though.
Until tomorrow bodyspace……Keep it Movin’

Hey Bodyspace,
I had a pretty solid workout today, hitting the upper-body, and feeling some strength gains coming back to me. The bench and supporting exercises felt really good today. I’m eager to get the legs in on tomorrow. The running workouts are still kicking my butt a little, but I’m doing alright with them. Soon, I’ll have back my speed and agility.
But there’s still more work to do yet……have to make the most of the time I’m given. That’s the only way I’ll know that I have given it my all and left myself with any unanswered questions.
Until tomorrow, bodyspace…..

Hey Gang,
I had a really good workout today! I’m really excited about it, went through two workouts in one session. I’m a little tired, but that’s to be expected. I have one more tomorrow, which is lower-body, (my personal fav…) So I’m amped about that. Ten weeks away! A lot can happen in ten weeks, baby! I’m looking foward to the great gains that I have coming my way……YEAH!
Look out CFL, here’s coming something…….something..big!
Keep it movin’

Hey Guys,
Double duty today, as I missed my workout on Tuesday with some business that had to be attended to. But today went well, aside from almost throwing up (again.) But I pushed myself to the limit, and was relatively pleased with the results. Bench is getting back to the normal, along with my pull-downs, and rows…..
So tomorrow’s another day…..until then, I’m getting things right.

Hey Bodyspace,
I’m getting closer to my big day, and the butterflies are turning into helicopters. I have to keep myself from constantly asking, “Did I do everything I could’ve done? What about adding one more sprinting workout?” It’s crazy. I’m just thinking about how much this could change my life for the better. But, as I weigh out everything, even if I don’t make the team, I’m still in pretty good shape. I have another year of eligiblity left to use and I can go back to school and play and develop one more year.
My everything stopped by last night and left me some very touching words. So I decided to put them here for motivation.
“This is BC Bound’s girl, Stephanie. LET’S DO IT BABY! This is for you and the love that you have for the game and it’s also for all the people who come to this page and their love for fitness or whatever!:) I believe in you and I have seen the look in your eye when u speak about the game’s influence on ure life. Don’t let anything stand in your way, not even your shortcomings or the shortcomings of others. I love you baby. YOU ARE STRONG, FEARLESS, FOCUSED, DETERMINED!”
And don’t get it twisted, my baby ain’t no couch potato. She’s our Uni’s record holder for the 60m hurdles. See?

Hey Bodyspace,
I had a good upper-body workout last night. Feeling my strength and size coming back slowly but surely. Found some really innovative ways to get my workouts in at home, without compromising their effectiveness. It’s like they, "Necessity is the mother of invention."
Today is a lower-body day and I can’t wait to get at it.
Until then Bodyspace……

Hey Gang,
I hit the bench press for the first time in about five weeks, and boy, it’s wasn’t pretty. So right now, we’re going through a little "muscle-memory" rehash, trying to get back to pushing the heavy weights again. It’ll be a hard road back, but what I’ve learned about myself in the last few weeks is that the strongest asset I have is my mind. Right now, it’s all about willing this goal into fruition.
I’ve had some positive things happening, got a second tryout scheduled with the Hamilton Tigercats, so there are more opportunities for me to showcase my talents. But I have to now get myself back in the position to do just that, showcase. My plan is to be a showstopper…..
Back to the workout, bench went okay, doing some hypertrophy work. So did this great combo pull-up/knee-lift exercise. (Boy, is that a killer!!!!!!!) Legs on tomorrow, trying to get back in the habit of writing on my blog daily, but I will report mr progress tomorrow.
Until then, keep pressing onward towards your goals, because we’re the only ones who can achieve them…..
