Turned 40 this year and decided I wanted to see 80 if the body/mind is willing…thought I better start preparing.
Decided it was time to finally shave my head and instictively knew I couldn’t be the fat bald guy, needed to be the Mr. Clean type bald guy…
Wanted to make my wife proud at her 20 year high school reunion…
Wanted to have a beach ready body for a week long vacation to San Diego in August…
Mostly mission accomplished, now its dropping to my college playing weight, always be confident in my physical appearance in any situation and setting an example for my two pre-teen boys…keeps the wife happy too.

I started my current program on Mar 19th 07 when I started at a new gym close to my office. My morning routine has been the same for a long time but I wasn’t getting the weight loss I was looking for after about a month so I started doing "two a days" and adding an afternoon session. The weight started to come down and I was motivated by finding this site and prepping for summer beach days. I’m now in the mindset to reset goals for the next 6 months and improve upon the gains I acheived over the summer. Would like to lose another 5-10 pounds by the new year and then focus more on lifting vs. cardio. Any suggestions on tweeking my rountine would be appreciated.
