Mixed progress report

The good news:  Medical report from recent physical was great!  Bad news:  Weight is fluctuating 10 lbs. on a regular basis - tired of losing and gaining the same 10 lbs.  I know that the eating is the biggest problem.  Workouts still consistent at least 3-5 times per week.  I haven’t actually set goals and planned meals over the last year or more.  I think this will help and keep me more focused.  Can’t give up and most definitely can’t go backwards.  Would like to lose a few more sizes in clothing.  As always, I’m motivated by the people on this site, especially those friends that help keep me on track regularly.  Moving forward…!

man, i know how you feel, last year setg my self up for success, but had to go to training(military) and lost some of it due to time food, and sleep, was hard to work out on a regular. Now iam back in the swing of things and my weight is coming off, but the definition is hard to get back. I support you effort becuase i know how hard it is to accomplish thing if you a have crazy job like mine. Can I give you a little advise, do not fall into temtation and take you time.

B the nutrition side is the hardest to conquer! I know, I worked out for 2…hell 3 years before getting my eating habits under control and I did the same thing you’re doing now. It’s a process, don’t give up, and make small steps to get there! Keep working out! Keep breaking that sweat and that will motivate you to take the next step! Let me know if you have nutrition questions. If I can’t answer them, I’ll for sure try to get wit someone who can! Let’s git it Boi!!

B, I would definitely suggest that you write down your goals. I would also suggest that you get very specific about when you workout. 3-5 times per week is good, but this, like your diet also fluctuates. If you can work out CONSISTENTLY 3x per week, do 3x per week and make sure that your diet is as "clean" as possible. Part of setting goals is time management. The other thing that I recommend is that you prepare a number of good clean meals at the beginning of the week so that you can eat cleanly without giving your meals a lot of thought. LOL! :) I know what you told me about vegetables, but you will definitely have to find some that you like. They help me to feel "full" and they assist the body in burning fat as well.

I have a number of BodyBlogs about goal-setting and time-management that might prove helpful. Hang in there B and let me know if I can help.
