Working smarter
I lowered the weights today and focused on hitting the target muscle groups. I can really feel the good soreness again. Think I may have been going too heavy and sacrificing form. (Comments welcomed). Eating today so far, so good. Still don’t seem to be losing weight, but still making progress otherwise. I know that’s the lack of proper and clean eating. Workouts this week have been good. Missed one cardio session that I plan to make up over the weekend. Checking BS regular for motivation and tips. So many people working so hard and progressing so well! Very encouraging!

If you look at a lot of the truly huge guys, one of the things they all have in common is perfect form for their lifts (other than the last couple where muscle fatigue is setting in). It’s better to use less weight and get the technique right, then to just throw up as much weight as you can.
It sounds like you are on the right track with concentrating on the target muscles, and you know that diet is the key to weight loss, so I’d say just keep doing what you’re doing. I’m just confirming what you already knew.

if u sacrifice form for heavier weights u might injure urself. if u want to go heavy but dont want to worry about form try using a machine and just get the most outta the contractions.
