C9,wk 4 wondering…
Snowed and iced in with a bad cold and power outages. Gotta rest some; back on it soon. Still wondering… Does the body get used to vitamins and supplements over a period of time, like it gets used to similar exercises over time? I’ve been on a wal-mart brand vitamin, similar to GNC, but have been thinking about Opti-men (don’t like the 3 a day dosage). Any thoughts from the experts on BS?

I don’t think the body gets used to vitamins, per se, but of course you can get too much of them and in most cases they get flushed out of your system. Though some can be toxic. However, I think the body does adapt to some supplements - especially creatine.
I don’t think there’s anything magical about GNC or other name brands over generic brands. Look at the nutritional infornation when in doubt!
