Yesterday’s leg workout took a toll on my left leg. I am barely walking and concerned about treadmilling tomorrow. I’m sure that it’s the "good pain," but it’s limiting my movement anyway. Will probably let it rest and start back on Thursday.

Why do you think that other people notice progress before you do? I have gotten more positive comments, sometimes detailed, even when I don’t think much has changed. I mentioned to a friend that perhaps it’s the similar with folks who suffer from anorexia - they continue to see themselves as large, when they are really small. Sometimes I look in the mirror and can’t believe it’s me; other times I look and see the bigger (as in MUCH) person that I was. Go figure! Anyway, I’m sticking with it and trying to make it better. Time may/may not be on my side, so gotta ride this wave now…
Bodyspace members have been great inspiration, motivation, and encouragement!

Same old, same old. Ended up with a great workout week, even if days were modified. Nutrition plan didn’t go as planned, but still seeing some progress. My nephew got married yesterday - too much wedding cake (and a little wine), not to mention the cheesecake earlier in the week. Not cool. Just think if both were in sync what I could do. Only thing is to try to do better this week. Another traveling week at a different gym, but I’ll get there. Much support and comments from Bodyspacers as well as personal friends. Going forward…

Did the out-of-town gym anyway, but only cardio and abs. In addition the the different and many types of equipment in this gym, the steam room is an added benefit that my home gym doesn’t have. Feel refreshed, ready for work. Now if I can control the eating today, that will be great! Most food they serve at these meetings has nothing to do with eating clean…

I’m changing routine this week due to having to be out of town. I can get to a gym when out of town, but sometimes it’s a hassle before getting to where I need to be. Most hotels have some type of treadmill if not a weight room. Monday was upper body. Plan to do lower body today instead of cardio. Then do cardio on Wed/Thurs, and back to lower body on Friday when returning home. Any BFL posters see any concern with that change? Please share…

I had all intentions of doing cardio as usual, but have only been able to lift this week, due to time and work. This is the last part of week 9, so guess I’ll have to throw in 3 cardio sessions between now and Sunday. Actually slept very good on Wednesday night. Maybe some repeat sessions of this will jumpstart progress again. Oh yeah, better eating would definitely jumpstart progress. Gotta get back on it the right way…

Well, week 9 of BFL has arrived. Nothing in my opinion to brag about. Eating a little better this past week, but not great (went crazy on Saturday, which wasn’t a cheat day). Interesting though, I fielded a compliment from a friend, much younger, who I know had worked out on a regular basis long before my starting in ‘06, but hasn’t made gains or losses. I encouraged him to keep moving forward. It was good to be an inspiration for somebody else, though I know my journey still has many miles to go before it’s where it should be. Enough writing, trying to get to the gym…

Where exactly is the "waist"? I have a hangover - not the drinking kind, but the stomach kind. Depending on where I where pants determines what size I can wear comfortably and neatly. Usually, my pants are worn over my stomach, but under the navel - that’s one size of pants. Though I can wear a smaller size if worn under the stomach (but the look to me is like a barrel - not neat when needing to tuck in a shirt. Ok - bodyspacers - need your comments: Those of you who are bold enough to share, and who may have this concern, give me some feedback. And what is your preference for how you select and wear your pants? Out of town, but still off to the gym…

Noticed that the inner thigh region has tightened up on each leg. Have been doing the inner thigh machine on lower body workout days. Glad to see progress because actually its only been part of my routine for a short time and not that often during this BFL challenge. On an alternate day workout this week, since no workout on labor day. This might actually be a good idea to change up days for workouts and cardio. So did an upper body today, instead of normal cardio session. Any ideas or suggestions always appreciated…

Ever have those days/weeks, where the workouts are great, but you just don’t feel that you’re making progress (as in the mirror/pictures don’t tell the story)? The only motivation to continue sometimes is gym comments or a motivating remark from a bb.com friend. Sometimes that keeps me on target more than personal goals. Anyway, Labor Day was not a good eating day. Tuesday was better, and today I hope to be full on it. Having to do evening workouts sometimes due to work, but as long as it’s done.
