Supplements…

In a different time zone, but it’s still early.  Tried to take the atro-phex again after stopping due to BP increase that was probably tied to that and extra coffee.  It had some good side effects, too, one that I won’t post here, but one of the bad ones is lack of good sleep.  Anyone with any experience on AP, let me know.  Training has been good this week; missed one cardio session, but will probably up the time later today.  Eating cleaner next week will be difficult due to being on a work retreat.  May have to find other methods to keep training during the week, too.  Still motivated…

Updating…

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

Had a great training week last week; started out ok for Monday.  Today, just wasn’t up to doing a cardio session before or after work.  Guess everyone has those days.  Having some pain in quad area - it’s the good pain that occurs between lower body workout days.  Progress pics are promising - still a long way to go.  Comments from others still motivate me to continue.  Best of luck to all who are in this battle with me!  It’s going to happen!

Whew!

The BP check that I thought I was having today turned out to be my annual physical.  Usually have to get mentally prepped for that, but no time for that on this round.  The good news is that everything was normal or above, without increasing meds!  Also, lost 3 lbs. since the visit last week.  Some unusual side effects from the exam, but it’ll be okay.  Looks like the caffiene in atrophex and the added coffee increased the BP.  Did cardio this a.m. and lower body workout sched. for tomorrow.  Back to the routine…

Good workout week…

Good workout week so far; decent nutrition week, but could have been better. Re-check on BP coming up tomorrow.  This is week 4 of BFL Challenge 7 - lifted fairly hard today and can feel it.  Took update pics to post later. Work has interrupted the a.m. flow of workouts, but still try to make it in the evening when possible.  Seems like things are on track, but the speed of it is still a concern.  Got to be patient, but persistent.

Back on the workout

Quick post before work: Too much cake at a celebration on Sun.(when you’re cutting sugar, even 1 piece is too much).  Made for a rough a.m. at the gym, but I got through it.  Even did lower body work at higher weights.  Will try to get back on better nutrition for the week.  Though the workout went well, sometimes it just seems like there’s no progress.  Guess it just not as fast as I want it.  Won’t stop though.  Everything is definitely much better than before 2006!  One day the pics will back that sentences up.

Good training week…

Up until Saturday, this was a good training week; nutrition not too bad, either.  Missed BFL cardio routine on Sat.  Trying to do today.  Big celebration with food coming up this p.m. Sat: Had whole wheat pizza with chicken/cheese topping-ate enough, but not too much. It’s what I consider a healthy cheat food.  Any thoughts from BB.com posters?
