For some reason, I slept in this a.m. Couldn’t get to the cardio session. May have had an atro-phex crash. I’m going to continue to alternate a few more days before letting it go completely. It may just not agree with me at all. Will try to do it tonight or add it to the weekend list. On to upper body workout tomorrow…

After some requested help from a bb.com poster, I have begun to refocus my efforts on the proper nutrition using the BFL model; much better - not perfect. Today is Wed. and so far the workout week has been great. Trying to take progress pics each week. Can see differences. Like most folks on this road, I want it all, like tomorrow. But I realize that consistency and patience are two keys to continuing to unlock this door of better health! If there are any atro-phex users out there reading this, let me know your experience. Best of all to the bb.com posters toward all your goals!

No negative side effects from alternating on Atro-phex, yet. Haven’t decided whether to take it on cardio or lifting days only, and at lower dosage. After a great workout yesterday, wanted to do a cardio and ab/adductor workout today. But as I thought the cold symptoms are about to shut me down. Guess I better chill and self-medicate. Seems to be going around in my area of the country; some say it’s allergies. Either way, it’s beginning to mess with the progress. Oh well, be back at it as soon as it’s gone…

Did a great workout even with the cold! Got to take it easy, though, because in the past trying to make it without resting eventually shuts me down totally; and next week will be a tough week - don’t want to miss working or working out (u know how it is). Did a heavy-weight/low-rep routine for upper body, along with a HITT treadmill cardio 5 min. intervals (different from BFL), did some ab work, also.

This cold is still getting me down; today is a cardio day and probably a upper body workout since missing one earlier this week. Still determined so far to get there and get it done Have started taking 30 second breaks between sets (works well for time too). Added ab and inner thigh work on yesterday to routine. Still gotta focus on better nutrition. On my way to the gym…

Completed the workout; fairly strenous than usual. Tried drinking 1/2 protein drink before and after lower body workout. Cold symptoms decreased for the day, but have returned tonight. Started taking lower amount of atro-phex on alternating days. Will see if this affects BP or if the other negative side effects return. Today was good day: both workout and nutrition.

After yesterday’s workout, began to take on cold symptoms. Woke up feeling about the same today, but still determined to try to do lower body workout today. Hot tea and aspirin regimen. Hope workout goes well - blog it later. Bros. and sisters: be blessed!

It was great to get back in the gym today. Warmed up with a 5 min moderate track walk, then did a 20 min HIIT cardio. Thought it would be challenging after not doing anything for the last 2 days, but it well. Plan to eat clean and detox for a couple of days after eating crazy. Hope to be fully back on the routine soon! To all my bb.com friends, thanks for the comments and encouragement. It means a lot on this journey. Best wishes to all of you on your goals!

Son started college on yesterday - the good news for the week! Though it seems we just brought him home as a baby yesterday. I am on a work retreat in a great resort area, but no fitness center and in bear/rattlesnake territory. Food is good, as in too good. Brought protein shakes and bars; only eaten 1 bar. This week is not good for training or nutrition. Will try to limit the food and forego a workout week, without messing up previous progress. The challenge continues…

Tried the 45 minute cardio routine. Alternated between walking moderately and cycling intensively (5 mins at a time). Afterward did the BFL 20 minuted HITT cardio on treadmill. Overall about 45 minutes. Also did some additional ab work and inner thigh exercise. Good sweat and felt okay. I think I’ll try it for a couple of weeks if time permits for gym time. Nutrition? Not terrible, but we’ll talk later - lol. BB.com support has been very helpful! Best of luck to all on the site!
