First post! Don’t know where to start… I guess I’ll start off with saying I’ve been in and out of the gym since last July. Back then I was trying to bulk up, yet retain a small waist. I used NOXplode preworkout, and Cell Mass post workout. I ended up gaining about 20 lbs, between fat and water, yet I couldn’t retain my pump nor muscle. I also was unable to run nearly as well as before (partially due to a recovering back injury 3 months prior). I quit in October in order to focus more on cardio after failing my PT test repeatedly (you would think 17 min. was a feasible time to run 2 miles, but I was out of breath after coming in at about 19-20 min.). However, I broke my thumb in early November and had to put everything on hold for at least a month.

Anyway, it was after failing in December that I decided to get myself back in shape no matter what. I suffered through severe shin splints, cramps, and the pain in my thumb - I couldn’t let it get the best of me anymore. Passed my test in January, and felt it was time to make a new plan and goal. Instead of actually trying to gain so much muscle, I figured I’d just drop the amount of weights I was pushing and up the reps. So far this year I’ve dropped about 9 lbs.
