Hi everyone,

Its been awhile since I last posted so I thought I’d give a quick summary:

Day 43: Chest, Shoulders & Triceps - My nutrition was on track (2750 cal) however I didn’t complete my workout. I had the seasonal influenza shot so my left shoulder just wasn’t quite up to it. In fact I moved a piece of furniture so my boy could get a toy that went behind it. Just moving that piece of furniture left my shoulder throbbing!!

Day 44: Plyometrics - I didn’t have any residual effects from the flu shot so I was able to complete that workout. I went out in the evening and managed to keep my nutrition for the day following my plan (~3200 cal).

Day 45: Back, Biceps & AB Ripper X - I completed the workout and my nutrition was on track (1720 cal).

Day 46: Cardio - I completed 40 minutes on the elliptical machine while watching the Cowboys finish off the Falcons. My nutrition was on track with me consuming 6 small meals totalling 1740 cal.

I still feel energized and very positive about this program.

Anyhoo, I should get going …

Not too much to report today. My nutrition was on track (2110 cal) and I completed my workout. I chose to spend 35 minutes on the elliptical machine as opposed to attempt yoga.

This Friday should be interesting. I have a couple opportunities to go out and be exposed to all the "bad" foods that I’ve been working hard to avoid. I hope that I can enjoy the event and a sampling of the foods I enjoy without going way, way overboard. For me it usually starts with 1 beer, then 2, then … next thing you know I need chicken wings, nachos and pizza!! What do you typically do to manage these situations?? Any advice is appreciated.

My nutrition was on track today (2060 cal). I’m happy that I’ve been able to maintain my target caloric intake on the weekends of late. In the past I was ~500 cal under target each day during the weekend. I’ve found that I’m better able to hang on to my muscle mass while losing weight. I also found that I’m now at 199 lb; a 6 lb loss since I started this adventure 5 weeks ago!!

I was able to complete my workout this afternoon. I find that I’m getting much better with the AB Ripper X component compared to when I first started. Quite a number of people on BB.com are motivating me to keep trying my best … Thank You.
