Day 39: Power 90X
Hi everyone,
Not too much to report today. My nutrition was on track (2110 cal) and I completed my workout. I chose to spend 35 minutes on the elliptical machine as opposed to attempt yoga.
This Friday should be interesting. I have a couple opportunities to go out and be exposed to all the "bad" foods that I’ve been working hard to avoid. I hope that I can enjoy the event and a sampling of the foods I enjoy without going way, way overboard. For me it usually starts with 1 beer, then 2, then … next thing you know I need chicken wings, nachos and pizza!! What do you typically do to manage these situations?? Any advice is appreciated.
Anyhoo, I should get going …

Hmm, not sure how serious you are about these 90 days but I can tell you this. When I was prepping for my comps,I had to become anti social and not attend events because I knew I would have temptations, I needed to stay on schedule with my own diet times, and I needed plenty of sleep. It’s up to you to go - but you have to make it a definite decision what you are going to do about that food before you even go: eat before you arrive and stay away from the food table, only have one drink and one appetizer, or something like that. But make a plan, believe in the plan, and follow through. You want to prevent regrets!
