Sooo Hmmmm…. yes i dopped off of the surface of the earth.  on the upside i did get a blackberry and im working on leaning out for this competition!! I am really scared. one of my friends is competing this weekend in denver< so apparently i am going with her while she liquors up to finish dehydrating (nonsense i know) oh well. sounds like fun. a bunch of low body fat percentage people running around while my chunky butt tries to keep up! one word-

YIKES!!!

…another day another dollar….

so today was rough… sore from abs, chest and legs… all over the last three days, and legs again tomorrow. AGK!!! Im so not excited.  Definitely been doing some work but lackin in some sleep… but down 5 lbs, and holding all muscle mass, so its all good!

k- so speaking of baby chickens-
I had just gotten done tanning at my gym (today was a day off) and we got this crazy-ass microburst rain storm… after it was over i was headed out to my car and there was a baby bird in the parking lot just shivering… so i grabbed some gym towel, scooped up the little chicky and put him in my lap and warmed him up and gave him some bread. Then i set him free outside and he was good to go! I just didnt want him to get run over!  I thought it was rather ironic!

I’m going to go eat some baby chickens. ICK I cant walk, and now, for the first time ever, i think i might actually count all of the stairs in my house. BLEH! I’m gonna get my legs back though, damnit  if its the last thing i do!!!!!!!

So i’ve been doing abs for about 5 days each week for the last 2-3 weeks straight. Its KILLING ME.  Though, I have noticed a much better balance in my back exercises and squats with them strong!

Another day another dollar… and as I have said before- I live to die another day.  LoL.  My trainer told me I’m carrying my weight well, but I’m going to have to start leaning on the legs. They are just too damn big for figure.  She said she’d kick my ass if i didnt, so here I go.  Its gonna be legs to failure light weight / high (i totally typoed this earlier)  reps, and god only knows what for supplements that are going to be entering my body.  If thats what i need to take it to the next level, I’m willing to go that route. What is interesting is that I am going to have to tailor my diet to my workout for the day…. low carb lean protein for the leg days (lower cal too) and higher carb higher cal for EVERYTHING else.  If thats how my body goes, thats how it goes.  Nothing like DOIN’ WORK. 

 To all that are interested- I do plan to post some more pictures, i but i need to do a bit of slimming down first.  Then I think i will do them on BOTH bikes (YES for all of you motor heads out there… guilty as charged).  I have some knee fat and a little bit extra on the thighs to cut down.  I guess we shall see how it goes, ‘cos i have a trip to a water park coming up in July that I want to be bangin’ for!

Sleep is SO overrated….

So the last two nights I’ve taken the bike out for a cruise… rode the strip around til about 12:30 AM and hit the sheets around 2 am and was up by 930 on both Saturday and Sunday.  The reason for the title you ask?  Well, if I wasn’t out riding the bike, I’d be at the bar, drunk (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! EXTRA CALORIES), and making a fool out of myself.  So, I suppose that Sheila the 600 CC Death-Rocket has at least one positive effect… I wouldn’t be sleeping regardless, but I definitley wasn’t hung over.  I met about 20 new peeps out riding this weekend.  I was nice. I love expanding my friend group.

I feel that a large portion of your own health and well-being is your mental health.  For me, it takes me surrounding myself with lots of positive, supportive friends, with a few close ones here and there.  If you only surround yourself with negativity, clouds will follow you.  Though not all people need friends, all people do need something positive they can look to to pick them up and help them brush their shoulders off. 

 Well, I suppose that was my philosophical post for the day. Enjoy!
