Okay, so an update on where i’m at.
Split up with my girlfriend of 2 years about 6 weeks ago now. Since we split i have wanted to keep my mind on other things, so have been hitting the gym hard.
The entire scenario has really got me thinking. Near the end of our relationship, my health was takin a real beating, i went a good 3-4 months without properly having a decent gym session. My diet was non existant….it is very easy to blame other people for these things, however whenever i needed the motivation it was never really forthcoming.
Even after her, there are still people in my life that are putting up barriers. The vast majroity of my friendship group love to go out and get drunk on the weekends and go to clubs…something i enjoy but is no good for what i am looking to acheive. Do i need to cut down on how often i am seeing my friends so i can concentrate on what is genuinley important to my long term goals???

Its a problem i’m sure many guys go through. I love training, but hate cardio (as i’m sure many do). But my main problem is i need to strip the bodyfat. I put muscle on easy enough but always seem to limbo with my bodyfat loss. Its the fear that by stripping i will loose all my muscle and just look like some skinny guy.
Advice on how to change this mindset would be very much appreciated!

Well, i’m doing pretty well. Diet has been great.
Drinking about 5 cups of green tea per day and another 4-5 glasses of water.
Think i’m gojng to be needing new trousers as they seem to be hanging off me today. However my legs are certainly looking mroe defined as is my Back.
Still need to cut out the milk and sugar in my tea!
I have been getting about 7 hours sleep a night….not sure how much this is going to affect things…….any ideas?

So i have seen some good changes thus far. My work trousers are getting looser and i can notice the difference along my stomach.
A few changes needed however.
I have been having butter or jam of a morning on my toast. need to cut that out
Been having a fair bit of diet coke…not too bad, but i think i am best of just sticking to water.
Have been drinking tea with sugar and milk. This needs to stop altogether and i should stick to green tea
Have been using sauces for my chicken at night…..needs to stop altogether.
Any help on the situation or kind words will go a long way
Thanks
Ash

so, my diets been good recently and my training is progressing (training has never really been an issue)
Find myself drinking a few cups of tea a day, which i dont think is helping and butter on my toast in a morning.
i am going to try substituting every cup of tea with a green tea…but not sure what to have instead of butter? (dry bread just doesnt appeal)
If anyone has any suggestions? let me know!

Hi guys
Need some advice when it comes to cutting. Trying to do cardio in the mornings before breakfast, but its a loosing battle so i do cardio before breakfast on weekends.
My diet is as follows
Meal1- Oatmeal, Protein shake or 2 egg yolks 6 egg whites & slice toast
Meal 2- protein shake +Fruit
Meal 3 - Chicken or tuna with wholemeal rice or bread
Meal 4 Protein Shake + fruit or Nuts
Meal 5 Chicken or turkey with wholemeal rice or wholemeal pasta
Meal 6 protein shake
Meal 7 cottage cheese
Whats the concensus on this for shedding the bodyfat? Really dont want to be loosing muscle!
Currently taking a multivit+zinc, cod liver oil in the morning and ZMA before bed.
doing 20 mins cardio 4-5 times a week and 30-40 mins the other 2 days
Thank
Ash
