LIFT Studios Launches HARDBODY NEWS Text Messaging Service
Female bodybuilding, fitness and figure news, gossip and NPC & IFBB Pro contest results delivered directly to your phone, within seconds of them happening.

DENVER, Colorado, February 27, 2008 – LIFT Studios (www.liftstudios.com) announced today that it has launched HARDBODY NEWS (www.hardbodynews.com), a new text messaging service for female bodybuilding, fitness and figure fans. HARDBODY News, like Muscle Phone (www.musclephone.com) for the men’s side of things, alerts subscribers of the latest industry news, gossip and NPC & IFBB contest results.

“Muscle Phone broke new ground for bodybuilding fans and it was time to provide a version for the women’s side of things. Those who sign up for the service will receive the 2008 Ms. International as well as the Fitness & Figure International results via text message immediately after they are announced,” said Isaac Hinds, Owner of LIFT Studios and Creator of Muscle Phone. “Fans of the female side of the industry no longer have to be glued to their computers or rely on friends for the latest NPC & IFBB contest results or industry news and gossip. Strategic partnerships have been formed with the IFBB Professional League, Pro Bodybuilding Weekly, Sprayflex, Getbig.com, Hardbody.com with more to come,” Hinds goes on to say.

Fans can access HARDBODY News, by texting the word HARDBODY to 64274 or visit www.hardbodynews.com, standard text messaging rates may apply. There is no charge for subscribing however standard text messaging rates may apply depending on your text message plan.Currently the subscription is not available outside of the United States but plans are being made to expand globally.

I have been to the Arnold 2 years in a row and I always see the same thing…

Guys that work out in the gym get all pumped and walk around in the Expo with their shirts off, or a shirt that’s too small.

In their minds, they’re thinking they are swole and large as life - until that one of two crippling moments for the ego happens:

1. You walk past a pro bodybuilder with his shirt off and you feel belittled.
2. You walk past a woman whose arms are bigger than yours.

And for the ladies, don’t be wearing those small tshirts with a pudge in the front thinking you are looking in shape, ’cause there will be pro models and pro figure women there as well!

What’s happening at the ISS booth? That’s what we wanted to know, so we asked a couple of the lovely ladies working the ISS booth what was up. Ron, the owner, agreed to give Ron from DNA Nutrition a great show deal. The two ladies shown here are also cheerleaders, well dancers, or something like that…

At the Ironman Pro, I indulged in the Muscle Milk Shot Challenge, but this time around the lovely and always divine, Ms. Dina Al-Sabah joined me. We decided to go shot for shot on CytoSport’s energy drinks XCYTO. I had the regular and Dina went with the sugar-free (cause she’s a lightweight).

I’m not exactly sure how many shots we each took but I would not recommend doing shots of an energy drink to anyone as you will come crashing down hard about 3 hours later. It was fun and the Muscle Milk ladies are some of the sexiest and friendliest at any expo.

Very few people know that I went to a Rascal Flatts concert last night (and oddly enough, the band members are from Columbus, Ohio!), but the whole experience got me thinking about this next video clip.

At certain points during the Expo, it’s hard not to feel like you’re being herded around like cattle…
