This photo was recently posted on GETBIG.com. It says the shot is three weeks out from the Arnold Classic. I’m a fan of Ronnie’s physique and what he brings to the stage. He usually fairs better at the Australian shows but perhaps he will crack the top ten next weekend. What do you think?

I was driving on my way to Golds gym in Venice Beach today when I saw that I had missed a call from Cathy LeFrancois. I had just seen Cathy over the weekend at the Iron Man where she was working at the Gaspari booth and drawing a great deal of attention with her shredded condition she was carrying two weeks out from the Arnold.

When I called Cathy she told me she would be filming part of her new DVD today and ask if I wanted to catch a workout with her. I have trained with Cathy several times and she has always held her own ground, with pound for pound matching most guys or even stronger. I met up with Cathy and Dave the owner of Max Muscle Venice at the store and we headed to Golds to hit shoulders. Since seeing Cathy this past Sat she looked even harder today with no fat and had veins running everywhere. I was surprised at how full she also looked as most competitors tend to look flat the last week.
Cathy has done her homework and if she shows up in this same condition 2008 could just be her year. Cathy started training with dumbbell side laterals where she seemed to go to failure. I’ve seen a lot of Pro’s just coast in the last week as not to overtrain or risk injury before the show; however, thru the whole workout Cathy kept her rest time down to about 1 minute between sets and went to failure.

Cathy plans on doing several contest this year and a few months ago signed a contract with Gaspari so things look like they are improving for her. The sport could use someone like Cathy to represent it as she is a very positive role model for others both on and off the bodybuilding stage.

WHOA Gina! Gina Aliotti is definitely one of the favorites to take the 2008 Figure International title. Check out the interview with Gina on her sponsor’s website. Here is a photo of Gina 10 weeks out from the Arnold. Gina doesn’t stray from her diet too much in her off-season and as you can see looks great! Watch out for her in a few weeks, she could be your next Arnold Figure Champ.

In the 2006 Iron Man, David Henry finished a close second behind the winner, Lee Priest. Big things were expected from him at the 2007 Iron Man. This year, he was expected to challenge for first place, though most people placed him behind Tony “The X-Man Freeman, in second. Those people were right … David Henry did finish behind Tony. However, he didn’t place second. David Henry placed 6th at the 2007 Iron Man, failing to make the final callouts. It was one of the worst finishes for him in recent memory.

David made some huge improvements in his physique for this show. His biggest improvements were in his arms and legs. Despite those improvements, David lacked the conditioning that originally gained him recognition. He came in looking fuller than many other competitions he has competed in but lacked the striations he always brings to the stage.
Will David be able to turn things around in time for the 2007 Arnold Classic?
I am betting he will bring a much-improved overall package to the AC stage but only time will tell. He will certainly need to dial in his conditioning for this show. If he fails to do so, he may fall by the wayside.
It will be interesting to see if David Henry makes the necessary changes in his physique in time for the Arnold Classic.

Heather Policky will debut in Sacramento but her bags will stay packed for her Arnold debut. HP is on track and will make some noise in her rookie year. Arguably some of the best legs in the biz, if not the best set of wheels on any female bodybuilder.
LOOK OUT COLUMBUS Policky is packing a punch and most likely a qualifying spot at the Olympia later this year. Two weeks out from the Sacramento show and three from the Arnold:

There will be more photos and training videos with Heather here on Bodybuilding.com.
