Livin’ the Dream in Afghanistan

Hey ya’ll, just wanted to give a quick update. I have been focusing my energies between my misisons and the gym and it is giving me some peace. I freakin’ jacked up my shoulder again…DAMNIT! I really should go get it checked out, but I am afraid it might get me sent to Germany. I’ll wait until I re-deploy and get it checked out at that point. It goes between hurting to move to my arm going completely numb. Oh well, it looks as I might have to take it easy in the gym going forward.

Okay, I will only complain about this once! I freakin’ can’t believe that the U.S. Army is going to put the pink boxer shorts into a museum! Serious? Really? We just put a couple of our brothers on a plane…We have soldiers dying over here and the Army wants to put some pink boxer shorts into a museum? What about all of his buddies boxers that they were fighting in? I am not hating on that particular soldier, I am hating on the media and Army commanders! I am considering asking to be chaptered out of the military! Makes me sick to my stomach!

Other than that, my diet is getting better. I am shedding some fat and trying to put on more muscle. I have been trying Muscletech Leukic Hardcore…I kind of dig it. I seems to assist me finishing as strong as I start. Has anyone tried the the Creakic? I tend to stay away from creatine…afraid of the bloat. I have heard that this stuff doesn’t make you bloat. Is this true? Any imput would be appreciated.

Until later…Jay

C’mon brother. You know that the pink boxers were meant to make soldiers look ridiculous; instead, that guy is seen (by most, at least) as a hero who’s more imterested in standing shoulder-to-shoulder with his brothers and protecting lives than his own embarassment. Sure, the stupid reporter should have had more respect; don’t give up on the Army because of a guy who would never have the guts to join himself.
