Monday 25 August

So a buddy of mine gave me his old 30 gig iPod (yeah, no kidding) because he said it wasn’t working properly. I messed with it most of the weekend and not only does it work, I was able to put some music on it. I have many more songs to add…30 gigs is a lot of music. I am going to try to put some movies on it as well so I will have something to watch when I go on TDY in October. So now I have a iPod and a 4 gig Samsung (that I have no idea what to do with). There is nothing better that FREE technology! I just need someone to upgrade my POS cell phone and I will be all set…Lmao!

I have to make another doctor appointment for my arm. I am having trouble with my wrist. It always hurts, esp. when I try to rotate it. It is from the same fall, I just need to make sure it isn’t messed up as well. I tried to help my neighbor move a picnic table yesterday and couldn’t pick it up without sending waves of pain from my broken elbow to my wrist. Just when I thought my elbow was getting better. It has only been 3 weeks and the doctor did say at least 6 before he wants me to start using it. I have stopped wearing my sling because I hate the darn thing.

Not being able to work out doessn’t seem to be affecting my progress though. I am down another 3 pounds since last week. I want to get down to 200 and then I am going to start working on adding lean muscle mass! 200 is what the Army says I can weight based on my height and age without having to be taped. I doubt I will get down to 200 before I start adding. I just have to make sure I stay well away from 24% bodyfat! That should be no problem, since I am at 19% now.

Well, my mood is increasing slightly…not back to where it was (or should be) yet, but getting there. I think once my arm heals I will be better. Okay, no more blabbing…I got to get some work done. Talk to you all later…Jay
