Elbow is healing…slowly!

Well, I tried to do some simple pushups and I could only do a couple without it causing some pain…damn! So I decided not to risk further injury and quit. My broken arm is really frustrating! It is really hard to be patient, eventhough I know that is what is required.

So my elbow combined with some personal issues is really screwing me up. I am not sleeping well, not really eating at all, etc. I am trying to get a grip on it, but it is difficult. I hope I will have some answers by Friday and I will blog about it then.

On a brighter note, my daughter is starting school in a couple of weeks…she is so excited. She has been ready since she was 3! The school told us that she will probably be moved to the first grade by the end of the year! I just hope they make that decision based on her ability only (not worrying about socialization). We are a military family and tend to move around a lot, so unfortunately she will have to become accustomed to moving schools. I am trying to change my MOS so that will be less of an issue for her and my youngest (when he starts).

I hope you all have a fantastic week…Jay

when they go to school, it’s great. they are out of the house - which means not making a mess for you to clean up. You’ll love it when she get’s to 1st grade and she is there all day.

are you seeing a pt. I would think they would start you on 2-5 lb weights to ramp up the arm

    get some sleep.

Thanks TDetroit…she is going to be in all day now…my son (almost 3) is not happy about his sister being gone all day, it will be hard on him for a while! I have a appointment in about 2 weeks, hopefully they will start PT. I can’t wait until I can get back into the gym 100%!

I started working out seriously about 2 months ago. When I started I was so ashamed that I couldn’t do 1 pullup without killing myself. Last time I tried a week ago I did five like nothing. Give it time my friend. Your body will heal and then a pushup will be as nothing. If you don’t mind I’ll keep you in my prayers. Blessings! Acts_16_31

I don’t know your problems, and don’t need to, but God knows them, don’t be afraid to share them with Him! If you don’t mind I’ll keep you in my prayers. Blessings! Acts_16_31
