My buddies ongoing saga
Well, my buddy wanted me to tell you all that he feels extremely blessed that so many people are thinking about him during this difficult time in his life. He has embraced your thoughts and well wishes. I would like to thank each and everyone of you as well.
He thinks that they are starting to get to a good place. She has agreed to sever all ties and work on making their marriage work. He still has trust issues and is trying to get his arms around the fact that his wife has fallen in love with a man (via the internet, IM and phone) without every talking face to face…all in about 2 months. He has accepted responsibility regarding some of his actions that made his wife go looking for what she was not getting in her marriage. He told me that he will no longer take his wife for granted. He is also having some problems with the amount of time that she plays this game (like 6-8 hours per day). She doesn’t see the problem…he told me that he has decided to take the "if you can’t beat them, join them" approach. He is trying to learn why this game is so important to her, so he sits by her and watches her play. He says it is amusing. He told me that he has to start trusting her to do the right thing so they can move forward together. Please pray for them…
