Sunday, October 12th, 2008Ran 45 minutes today, which I did 6 days this week M-Sa. I did 24 miles total. I did a shoulder, chest and tri workout on Monday and on Wednesday I did back and bicep. I am feeling really good about the running and lifting this week. However, my friend talked me into eating at the Olive Garden yesterday and I ate a LOT of carbs, and calories for that matter–at 9pm!! Normally I would allow myself a cheat meal here and there without feeling guilty about it, but I have been bad with the diet all week, so I am not feeling good about this setback. I stepped on the scale today and noticed I have gained 3 lbs. Grrrr! Maybe writing it down here will help me refocus. I didn’t do my legs this week because if I do, I can’t do cardio and since I am trying to lose weight, I need the cardio more. What do you do if your friends aren’t health conscious?…how do you hang out with friends on the weekends who want to drink alcohol and eat fattening stuff late at night???
