Every holiday, I hear the same thing over and over again. However, before I get into that. I need to update you all. I tried upping my carbohydrates for one day and I didn’t like it. My weight loss stalled due to my reduction in calories, so I upped my calories to 2900. Now, I am feeling much better.
Alright, as we all know the 4th of July is tomorrow. I am already hearing people talk and messages being posted about "eating clean". Food is neither clean nor dirty. It serves a purpose of your providing your body with energy in which you burn. Human perception has shaped food into either "clean" or "dirty". I bowl of "clean" almonds or "clean" apples, can make you fat just like a "dirty" steak can.
At the end of the day, we’re all here on this planet to LIVE life. Let me say that again, LIVE life. You being a fitness prune while everyone else is enjoying themselves, is going to leave you isolated in the corner. Holiday’s are great because they are just that Holiday’s. A time for you to relax and enjoy yourself with friends and family. Now, before I go to the gym for a second time today. It’s time to recap.
One day of eating whatever you want, will not hurt your progress. Well if you just started the Anabolic diet or any low carb diet that requires an induction phase… well you choose the wrong week to start. Sorry homey. If you’re overweight and thank one day is going to hurt your progress, well you need to chill. Did it take only ONE DAY to be where you are now? I think not. Now, go out and enjoy life, because you only have one.
Oh, and don’t buy the book "Eat Clean Diet for Men". The book clearly mentions not to eat after 6pm. I returned the book the next day.

Contrary to what many say on their bodyspace tag lines. Supplements are just that, SUPPLEMENTS. There is no supplement in the world that is going to provide will power and dedication. People ask me what supplements I used to lose weights. It wasn’t the supplements that got me out of the bed. It wasn’t the supplements the got to where I am now. It’s not the supplements that continue to push me.
Remember, the most important supplement is within in your body. Once, you tap that, the world is yours. Just a little something to remember, when you see ****** rocks! Promo code *******.

From time to time, I go through my "friends" list and see what’s going on with them. I have noticed recently noticed that a lot profiles have become inactive. I can only assume that’s is due to the warm weather and these individuals are outside getting it in. Well I hope that is the case. Anyway, be easy.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone has enjoyed their holiday weekend. I was spent the weekend at the beach in Ocean City, Maryland and this brings to my first comment.
Most people don’t give a damn about how they look. No, I am serious about that. You should have seen most of the people. I was just like wow.. However, I still felt bad about how I looked. I felt that I was fat and I was not defined enough. I will be posting a number of pictures to show you what I am talking about.
Regarding the pictures, after looking at them I have a series of areas I need to focus on. I need to hit my chest harder and continue to drop my body fat levels.

I hate training my abs.
I know you’re thinking, did he just say that? Yes, I did. The sure thought of doing any ab exercises bring shudders to my spine. The reason is simple…. I don’t believe I am doing any of the exercises targeting the abdominal muscle correctly.
"Well, didn’t you make a video?" This is true I did make a video, but there are tons of video on youtube of people doing exercises wrong. Mine is no different.
Out of all the area’s of my body, the ab area is the least defined. Shoulders, chest, legs and arms are all coming along nicely. However, those abs. They might as well be sitting somewhere and taking a lunch break. The definition is just not there and it’s not from the lack of trying. I don’t know what it is and I am open for suggestions.
It’s quite possible that I need drop more weight and or bodyfat but really how much. I am at 189 and if I get any smaller I will disappear. Oh, well I had to get that off my chest.

Yesterday, I was walking around Wal-Mart. So, I am walking, and I come across the Iron Gym. I have heard about it but I never really looked into it, because I couldn’t do pull-up to save my life. Since I can do them now, I decided to pick it up. I mean it’s only $30. Can’t wait to try it!

really need to stop.
Men - Come on now son. When I am bored I enjoy checking out the profiles. However, some of you take it to the extreme. This is when you know you have problems:
1. Your number of comments for the day equal my time in the gym.
2. Your progress picture is the same for the last 6 months.
3. You end every comment to a female with *muah*.
Women - Where do I begin.
Women have it so much easier. All you need to do is show some skin. The men that follow the criteria above will come. You then all wonder why some disrespect you. There are tons of women on this site that deserve the top six spot but will never get there because they don’t have DD’s in their profile picture. Oh well. Back to the LOL’s.

I am going to start off by saying, that I had a great time with Arielle on Saturday. Now, to the LOL’s. As you all know, I was at the Under Armour fitness model search. Alright we get there at 7:45am and the first thing we seen was a bunch of kids. I mean they were everywhere. The adult men were like… yeah. Only one guy was comp.
So, I was like whatever. Let’ see where this goes. I feel out the form and get my height checked. The lady is like 72 inches. I am like what? She, said " yeah your 6 ft tall." I was like now that’s tight. I always wanted to be 6ft tall.
Anyway, I am told to go to the back. When I get back there, I am asked to change into their clothing which consist of a shirt and some shorts. I put the clothes and I am like, I look good. I step out of the fitting room and I look at this lady writing on some papers. She glances and immediately stops what she is doing to look. Mind you, the comp guy was there at the time and some girl. So, I guess I looked interesting.
I am told to hold up a sign with my name on and take a picture. I take the picture with a soft smile. The next picture is taken with no sign and I give another soft smile. Now, here is the kicker. They take more measurements… chest 39 1/2 inches, waist 30 1/2 inches… WAIT WHAT! Waist 30 1/2 inches! This is with damn large shorts on. The lady was like, you’re small. I just looked at her.
So, now his the irony of the whole situation. I was wearing size 46 pants. Now, I get to a certain point and told that I maybe too small? All I could say is wow, and be weary what you wish for! LOL! Oh well, those are the breaks. All is not lost, she said they make exceptions all the time and not too worry.

I don’t care how much you love something. There comes a time when you sit back and ask yourself, "why am I doing this?" Followed by, "When I reach my goal, what do I do next?" I have been asking myself these questions of late and I really have no answers. Over the last year, I have been able to lose 100+ pounds. While that is an accomplishment, what have I really gained? Some say I may look better but looks are subjective and based upon the individual. Some say, "you’re healther!" Am I now? That hard to judge, when you’re behind a computer monitor for the majority of your day.
This is not a rant, just some internal thoughts that I have swirling around in my head. I guess, I am just thinking about the future and what that may bring. Some even say, I have modeling potential… they must have been drunk, because I don’t see it. Oh well, just thoughts….

I know it has been a few days since, I have checked in with my Bodyspace family. Things have been good, I was able to go down Washington D.C and see now President Obama sworn in. It was so cold outside, I believe I have caught a cold. So, I have been battling that. Since, I am low carb, I have not taken any cold medicine. Yes, it is that serious.
Anyway, I am back.
