The difference a shoe makes..
Monday, April 6th, 2009Over the weekend I was out with my brother and girlfriend. We are walking around and come across this store that tailors to runners. So, I inquire about getting my feet measured. Measured is the only word i can describe. I found out that I have little to no arch in my foot. This is called severe overpronation. So, I bought a shoe that has extra cushioning and arch support.
OH MY! I am talking about a world of difference. I jumped on the treadmill to warm up this morning and I felt like Sonic The Hedgehog. I normally only "run" for 10 minutes, well my warm-up lasted 25 minutes! My HIIT session was fantastic, I actually enjoyed it.
So, basically get your feet looked at and get the right shoes. They will either make or break your foot, knee caps or whatever.
