Trip to Asia and Black Belt Exam
Ok, so if my calculations are correct, if its 6 at night here in Japan, its probally something its something like 5 in the morning back in Florida.
Thats right, I’m in beautiful…COLD AS HELL Japan. I am here for my 2nd degree black belt exam, and I couldn’t be more excited….and nervous.
I have dramaticlly cut back on my weight training and focused mainly on my cardio…because the exam is over 6 hours long, no breaks. The main goal of the masters on the exam board are not only to make sure to see if you know everything that is required, but also to try and break you mentally!
Compared to all that I have gone through in the past few months, with all the deaths in my life and what not, this should be a piece of cake…I hope!
But I’m ready for whatever they throw at me.
So this trip will not only take me to Japan, but also Korea and China, so if anybody wants to get some pics of these places, send me your email…but sorry, no pics of the exam….noone that is not testing or on the exam board are allowed in, including cell phones or cameras. So aloha for now and like always….
