I was grunting and cursing at my trainging buddy who I dearly call “tyrant”. Inside myself of course. I’m a well raised person, even though I wanted to throw the barbell in his face. R… if you’re reading this… I don’t really mean that. At the end it’s for my own good, and I give a 100% every time. He’s helping me out so I’m not going to waste his time. But after my workout I wanted to crawl under a stone and die. LOL
I got cramps in the middle of the night. THAT HURT!! It happens a lot actually. I’ve heart that using creatine may help. Or was it glutamine?
Anyway my workout went like this:
DB shoulder press: 4 sets, first 20 reps short and last 5 full range motion.
Front plate raise : 4 sets, first 20 reps short and last 5 full range motion.
Rear delt raise : 4 sets, 20 full range motion
Close-grip bench press: 4 sets, first 20 reps short and last 5 full range motion.
One arm cable tricep extension: 4 sets, first 20 reps short and last 5 full range motion.
Alternate DB bicep curl: 4 sets, first 17 reps short and last 3 full range motion.
BB curl: 4 sets, first 7 reps short swinging the BB toward the chest stopping at chest height, the next 7 reps starting at chest height swinging it al the way at the top and last 7 full range motion.
Later today I’ll have anotherexcruciating workout. We’ll be doing chest and back….

The most humiliating thing happen to me yesterday. I did legs yesterday so I wore baggy pants . The gym was packed, every one wants to look good for the holiday.
I don’t feel comfortable wearing tight pants while I squat: half the gym is always staring at my butt. It’s huge, hard to miss. These pants are like two sizes bigger. I went to the ladies room before doing my HITT routine on the treadmill. I always tie the knot a little bit tighter because I don’t like showing my panty line. It’s so tacky.
As I was sprinting I felt a cold breeze on my lower back/ butt area. I grabbed my pants just in time. Not only I was showing my panty line but half my butt. And I was wearing a very very old-torn-colourless-no elasticity string so anyone had a pretty good view. Not that my humilation would’ve been less if I was wearing lace panties. I felt like I could DIE. If only the earth could’ve split and drag me in!!
I just pulled my pants up, made a DOUBLE knot and continued doing my workout… like nothing happened. Fortunately no one said anything about it. I just hope no one saw anything….

I work out with this guy at the gym every now and then. He suggested a different way of training. Very light weight and lots of repetitions (failure) with high intensity. At first I was a little sceptical. I want to lose weight (body fat) and gain muscle definition. I know that because of the intensity you burn more calories and there for more fat. But what is it going to do for my muscle definition? It takes a lot for a person to convince me, especially if you’re not a certified trainer. But he looks good, and for what he has told me… all natural… of course.
So I worked out the way he said and I did legs yesterday.… OMG!!! I’m sore everywhere. I have sore muscles that I didn’t even think I had to begin with. For example: Squats on the smith, 10 kg approx. 22lbs. (I usually do 20 kg 4 sets of 10-12 reps.) All the way down, over 90 degrees and half way up. I did 4 sets of 30-40 reps.
Jumping side squats on a platform, legpress, seated leg extension, seated leg curl, leg press and lying leg curl.
I have shoulders & traps today. I’m already freaking out. LOL Shoulder-workout is my least favorite workout, but the one I do most because I want to have beautiful strong shoulders.

I just ruined my diet. Unbelievable!! It all started when my sister called me that she was going to visit me with the family. So I bought al kinds of delicious things to cook. A Thais shrimp & noodle soup (coconut milk) and a white chocolate-ginger cheesecake for dessert. She calls me a day before that she can’t make it because she’s got the flu. Long story short:I ended eating everything myself, and it was sooo good! I’m so mad at myself, now I have to start all over again. 3 whole weeks just down the drain!!

It’s been so difficult the last year. It’s easy to make goals, trying to get there is what’s a bit more challenging. Last year it has been all about schedules, cardio and weight lifting.
Always knowing that I should include dieting or ” eating clean” .
I LOVE FOOD, junk and candy. I wouldn’t say no if someone offered me a hamburger or a cookie: I like eating rice, meat, pasta in creamy cheesy sauces. Hmmm And oh pastries: love pastries.
I fitness hard for 5 times a week for about 2 hours. 1 hour weightlifting and 1 hour cardio (mostly steps). I’m so “disciplined that I even went to the gym the day after my wedding. How about that!! But why is it so difficult when it comes to food? I did lose some weight and two dress sizes, but my body fat is still too high.
