Alright guys, this is my last week to work out before I head out to boot camp. As most of you know, I signed up for the military a while back, graduated highschool and now my ship date is about here. I owe alot of my progress to all of your help, so thankyou all of you for that. This isn’t a goodbye, but only a see you later. Like…. 2 months later. I’ll throw up some pictures and progress pics before I leave, and definitely some when I come back. This whole thing is a wakeup call that I’ve been needing. Military is my path of life, and I’m leaving home at only 17. I’ve talked with alot of you about this and I’ve gotten tons of encouraging help. Like I said before, you guys are great, and thanks for everything. I wish all of you best of luck and I’ll see you soon.

So, things have been good lately, but before they weren’t. Once Christmas break started, things started going downhill. Of course around the holidays you eat, sit around, and get fat. Well, I did that but I also got sick as anything and to top it off got all depressive from a relationship. So I didn’t do too good for a while. I haven’t worked out since then, but started back up last week. Then I got food poisoning which totally sucked. Things seemed really bad, but I kept up and started hitting it hard today. Took a bodyfat percentage and was really happy with it, also it just feels great to be back in the game. Plus, this site really keeps me up and positive. You guys never let me down, and I just want to say thankyou.

So I found this quote, and knew quickly I should keep it and post it.
"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars."
Go for big, and give it everything you’ve got. Even if it doesn’t work out, you’ll still get something good out of it. Most of the time we don’t realize it’ll be better than we think.

The best part about being sore, is knowing that I had one hell of a workout the day before. I guess I’d rather be sore, than not.

Hm, first blog.
Ok, so I can’t go to the gym as much anymore since school started and I don’t have a ride. I’ve been doing an X amount of body-weight workouts, which don’t feel like a real workout. So I decided since I live in the middle of the forrest, that I would go out and use my resources to find a good workout.
I was in for one hell of a suprise.
I found logs or branches to use as bars, and rocks and stumps as weights. It was alot different workout from what I’m used to. Usually my hand can comfortably fit around what I’m lifting. These rocks, aren’t the easiest to lift. Also, I had no idea how much I was lifting, so I would set a goal and hit that amount of reps.
So long story short, I found a new way to work out, I just took a shower, and thought I would record it. Also, I’m more sore from this than I am a normal gym workout. I’m just happy that I found a way to workout whenever I want.
Has anyone else resorted to a similar workout?
If not, I would recommend this. I had my fun.
