Muscle is built by, Overload.
Thursday I trained back, it was my week back after taking a week off. I was not trying to break any records here, but I wanted to get a good workout in. I kept the weight just heavy enough so i can execute the movement well. I kept my routine pretty much the same as my previous back routine. Change is not a factor that brings results. Desire is.
The world was build on short burst of violence, building muscle is no different.
Overload builds muscle, now what’s overload ? Overload is a stimuli that your body has not felt before. Your responsible for the intensity of your workout. You see more people not training hard than people that are. Gaurantee you, the people that are training with desire and intensity and drive have bit more muscle on them. In fact they look like they are in another league.
This is what separates your, work ethic! .. not variety. and constantly changing your routine because you picked up the latest magazine. I was in that vicious cycle when I started out, now I know that if your wanna move weight ; you must do it yourself! Change come from inside you.

Pulldowns 2 sets 240lbs. 12 rps. barbell row 3 sets 1 set 135lbs. 12 rps. 2nds set 185lbs. 12 rps. 3rd set 205lbs. 8rps.
cable rows 1 set 240lbs. 12rps. dumbell row 1 set 80lbs. 12rps. hyper ext. 1 set (no weight) 12rps.
