New Year, new goals
Saturday, January 3rd, 2009This year, my fitness resolution is to work on strengthening my upper body. I admit that I’ve been neglectful and have focused initially on my lower body primarily because this is where I needed the most work. Now that I have my lower body just where I want it (boy that sounded wrong…lol), it’s time to switch it up. Free weights are difficult for me to use because I have problems maintaining form and there’s rarely a spotter there when i work out in the mornings. Good thing my gym has a brand new line of Precor equipment to use. Some exercises, such as skullcrushers and dumbbell presses, I’ll keep using the regular dumbbells for but until I gain a significant amount of strength, it’s the assisted machines for just about everything else.
