This morning I got on the scale, and to my surprise, I found out that I have lost 20lbs. Over the last two weeks, I’ve lost the weight just by watching my diet and keeping it clean. Your diet really can make or break you.
I’m excited about the progress I’ve made thus far and I’m looking forward to the next 20. I’ve got my goal set at 40, but the 20 I’ve lost already hasn’t put me much closer to where I was hoping to be. Maybe I should put it to 50 or 60lbs to lose. I don’t know. I guess I’ll find out when i’m there.

I’m totally pumped after shopping this weekend. All of my shirts are XL or either XXL that I’ve been making do with. Well Yesterday I dropped by the store to check things out. So I just happen to grab a large shirt along with an XL and headed to the fitting room. I decided to try on the large first cause there’s no way it was going to fit. GUESS WHAT!!!!???? It DID!!! I stood there looking in the mirror for what seemed like 5 minutes. While standing in my trance, all I could get out was…"I’m wearing a large shirt." When I came too, I took it off, put back on my XL shirt I wore to the store, walked out of the fitting room and headed back to the rack. I put the XL back on the shelf and got three new large shirts!!
This feeling was so worth all of the sacrifices and hard work I’ve put in since January. This is only the beginning.
