So, I start my contest diet in about a week and a half. I have started cleaning up my diet a bit already. I am eating every 2 hours. My meals look like this: breakfast protein powder and oatmeal, post work out meal - same, then each meal after that is either chicken or steak with sweet potatoes and a cup of veggies. I have been snacking on grapes which i will cut out later, and I am not super strict about cheat meals, on the weekend i will eat like a normal person. for my work-outs I have been doing cardio 4 days per week and weight training as heavy as I can 4 days also. I am weighing in at 140lbs. right now I hope to be about 125ish at the show. I am going to do 2 shows. the first is July 12th and the second is the following week July 19th. I will use the first show to test my peak so I can make sure I look as perfect as I can at the second one which is a bigger show. I am pretty excited because I have two girlfriends that will be competing with me this time. It should be fun to have some partners in crime.
Some of the things I am trying to figure out right now before I officially start my diet are carb cycling and doing a pre-contest cleanse. At my last show I was too stringy so I may incorperate a carb cycling diet plan in order to keep some fullness. If I do I will probably start that 8 weeks out.

As of my last post, I was going to do a show in April. I have now pushed it back to July. I still need to put a bit more size on my legs. I did however change up my diet a bit. I am eating SUPER clean, only one cheat meal per week. I was cheating a bit more before. I am still bulking, so I am eating a lot, just better. I have been watching my sodium and I started taking BCL’s eph Hardcore and PM. So far, I LOVE it. I don’t always like fat burners because they make me feel wierd. This stuff gives me a lot of energy for my work out, but I don’t feel sick. Then I take the PM in the later part of the day. It helps me curb my appetite (that’s the time of day I start to get the munchies) but it allows me to sleep at night. A girl needs her beauty sleep! A few people told me my face looked a bit thinner this week. YAY! I gain so much weight in my face, the only thing I can’t cover up!
Anyway, I can’t wait for my show in July. It’s a bigger show, but with the extra time I hope to really bring my best!

Once again, It has been a while since I have written a post. I have been working like crazy the last few weeks, so It’s been tough to get on this site. I have been getting in my work-outs luckily, but I need to up the cardio. I start my diet in a week and a half, OMG!!! I am pretty excited, I feel like I need this contest to help me stay motivated right now. I am going to start taking BCL’s fat burner soon. I am pretty excited to try it out. with all the bulking I have been doing I hope to get shredded again, and soon! I had been taking BCL’s creatine, their NO2 product, and their Amino Acids, they will be comming out soon. So far I really like their stuff. I feel like I have put on A LOT of muscle since my last show. I will continue to take the NO stuff ( I love it) and the amino acid complex. I have also been taking their pre-work out drink in fruit punch. It’s really yummy. I have been getting such a good pump when I am in the gym. It’s crazy. I can’t wait to see how I look when I get into contest condition this time around. I am so excited! well, I hope to enjoy my last week of normalcy before I begin dieting like a crazy person! I am still trying to decide what I really need to eat one last time before I begin the diet. I just may have to have dessert!!! Some chocolate cake perhaps? I don’t know we’ll see!

It’s been so long since I have written a post. I am so relieved to have made it through the holidays. It’s so nice to be back to the old routine. I am getting in a few more weeks of bulking before I start my competition diet in feb. I am really focusing on my legs this next few weeks. That is my toughest area to get size. I have gained about 3.75" in each thigh. I am sure a lot is water, and there’s probably some fat too. I am going to do legs today, and I hope to really beat myself up!!! I feel like my upper body has come a long way, I just hope to retain as much size as I can during the diet. This is my first time really bulking, so as with any contest, this will be a good learning experience for me. I want to see how my body will respond to the added muscle. I can’t wait to get rid of all this extra fat….I mean water, it’s just water. LOL

It’s been a while since I have posted a new blog. My training has been going well, still gaining like crazy. Hope everyone has a great Holiday, and try not to eat too much junk! It’s so tough. It’ll be nice to get back to the normal routine. Good luck and have fun!

I just started taking some new supplements that Black China Labs will be comming out with soon. One is a creatine and the other is a NO product. I am trying to gain some muscle right now, so hopefully these new products will help. I worked out yesterday, and took them both before I hit the gym. I got a really good pump, and I felt strong. So far, I really like them. : )

Up untill today, I was feeling really great. I had a ton of energy, I was really strong, and I felt invincable. Today, however, I feel tired, sore, and overtrained. It’s crazy how fast it can all turn. My body needs a break. It hurts!!! I am going to have to change up my routine this week so I can take a much needed break. I usually train 5 days per week. Last week I changed it up a bit, and I had 7 days in a row. ( now I know, that was not such a good idea) I had one day off and started up again this week. I feel like there is so much to do, it’s so hard to fit it in in just 5 days.
Just need to complain a bit

Well, I am very excited today! I just got a sponsorship with Black China Labs. I am more motivated than ever now to be part of a team. I will be competing in more figure shows next year, so I will be posting my contest progress. It will be much easier not to pig out on Halloween candy tonight with this extra boost of motivation. Well, I participated in my first figure contest. I got 5th place. I was happy to get in the top 5 for my first show. Overall, it was a great experience. All of the girls were so nice! Other than being sore and tired it was so much fun, I can’t wait to do it again.
Now It’s time for me to try and put on a few lbs. for next year. I plan do do another show in April or May.

6 days, only 6 days left! I can’t wait. I have lost 5 lbs. this week, I really hope it’s not muscle. I weigh 115 lbs. Kinda Small, I am 5′-8". I am thinking I look a bit deflated right now, I am cutting carbs. On wednesday, I will start loading carbs. (I would kill for some oatmeal or brown rice right now!) Hopefully, I will fill out a bit. I’m kinda worried because I have never done this before. I don’t know what my body is going to do, and I have worked so hard. I hope it all works!!!
