1-1/2 weeks till the contest

OK, so I feel like I have been slacking on the journaling and recording of my work-outs, but I have not been slacking on the dieting and the training.  I am doing a carb cycling diet, and I love the loading days, but the low carb days are rough.  I have been sooo tired by the time I get to the loading day that I can barely function!!!  I feel like I have made tons of progress since last year, so I am happy with that.  I did a test run of my water last week.  I did 7 days distilled water and no sodium, then I depleted water on monday night to see how i looked on tuesday.  I was pretty happy with the results.  I am doing a test run of my carb load this week.  tues and wed loading, then see where I am at on thursday.  I am really enjoying the carbs!!! I will start the distilled water and no sodium and no carbs ( for the carb depletion) on saturday.  NO FUN!  this is going to be the toughest part.  I am not looking forward to it.  I just have to get through it, and try to be nice ; )

    Carb depletion accomplishes nothing but an extreme reduction in beauty. Flat muscles look pathetic. No matter what phase of dieting you’re in, completely excluding carbs saps the glycogen bulk in the muscle tissue and straightens out lean curves. POINTLESS.

    then why do so many people do it? I need it to lose the last bit of fat anyway. Also, when you load the carbs after depleting the glycogen you get a full overcompensated look.

    keep doing what works for you as in working out you look fit the most important thing is to be healthy ; you look good

    well, whatever the deal is-you look absolutely gorgous in your pic! you really do! you make me want to just run to the gym! lol! the low carb days are hard…i think its about a mindset though. you know..it is hard though! today was one of those days for me..struggle, but i’m okay now :)

    I did carb depleting and loading for my show last time. I was a skinnier me at that show, but I liked how it made such a huge change in my appearance in the last week. I am afraid to try something new for this show, but maybe I will experiment for the next one on the following week.
