Thick Chicks -Consistency Challenge…

TC Challenge 14th-20th -No Workouts

So I am def out for 1st..but I will pick up my workouts come Monday! This week was filled with mental rest and relaxation and re-evaluating my life goals  since I also celebrated a mile stone b-day on Wed.

I am not sure if its my methodology, the ability to not see certains things through completion or the fact that I lose major interest so quickly but as to date I have tried so many plans be ’em diets, etc…and not seen the results I set out for and the crazy thing is this need to be so honest and open about this!  Failure esp. on sites such as this one is not popular…But I never give up the belief that I will one day look back at these blogs and say "damn it was a struggle" I gave up so many times before but I stuck it out and now I am product of my hardwork and determination!

This week I took off from work..a much deserved break and used the time to  educate myself about raw foods versus processed foods.  I’ve even made friends with a person whose whole life changed drastically  from going raw! As a matter of fact most of these folks’ websites or YouTube vlogs I visited just seem to inspire me in so many ways. I was so  impressed with their down to earth atittudes and their willigness to exchange information for free! I was in awe in how so many raw foodists looked young for their age, just glowed and had a real positive vibe, were accomplished in whatever jobs, careers they embarked on!  The energy factor was a big plus as well and I learned alot about how a sluggish digestive system plays into that!

Sticking to a nutrition plan has been my downfall, I can exercise daily and still not get the results and that has been the case for quite sometime! And its not that Im eating horribly wrong, I just think my digestive system and metabolism needs a major intervention of some sort. My trainer thinks this is a great route for me to pursue and has made some awesome suggestions on where to get additional protein, though plant based foods provides alot of what the body needs, however there is another meatless alternative like hemp!

The last few day, I’ve been drinking water with lemon when I get up and having a green smoothies for breakfast and dinner, vegetable salad throughout the day and I am already feeling lighter. Right now its about getting my pantry together and purchasing some key appliances (there is alot of cooking involved) and gathering as many recipes that will keep this interesting….ahh that key word again).

As usual I will post rather this is a sucess or bombs…
