I have made past the first three weeks of consistent training and diet. It is finally becoming more of a habit than something I have to fit in. I had a small food reaction this weekend that affected my digestive system and interrupted my sleeping. I just wasn’t being careful enough. It is amazing what you have to avoid when you can’t eat corn or beef. Even supplementation has become a pain. I have to take all of my supplements out of their capsules and put them in my protein shake. I tell you what, that can really kill the taste. Not that my shakes have that much flavor. I can’t use artificial sweeteners due to the process they are made by which involves corn. I use stevia powder as my sweetener. I am also eating a ketogenic diet and that limits what can go in the shake.

My lifts have great lately. I finally have a lifting partner that shows and I have been able to push some decent weights again. I am doing 8 to 10 reps right now. I want to go heavier with less reps but my trainer (my wife) says its not time yet. I like to DC style of training but I don’t want to get hurt again. I refuse to make one step forward and two steps back as I did in the past. It is nice to have things working out.

I must admit I was a little depressed over not being able to explain my fatigue with the B12 deficiency. I did take the full week off from lifting but I did my cardio. My shoulder has been getting much better and I am looking forward to the pain going away fully. I am pretty sure my fatigue is from a lack of sleep and poor diet. My diet has been much better and today I lifted again. Did back, biceps and cardio. It felt great to lift again. Yea I know it was only a week off but I just love to lift. Tomorrow will be cardio, abs and an hour with the physical therapist. I have most of my meals for the week cooked. I am going to do great today on my diet. I have faith.
