Crap workout

Man I had a horrible workout today.  My shoulders was hurting and I had no energy.  Everything I did (chest day) hurt.  I did some abs and tried to do as much lifting as I could.  I am hoping I can figure out what is making me so tired.  I have been like this for a long time and usually throw most of my energy into my workouts and force my way through the rest of the day.  Maybe I am over trained.  If that is the case it must not take much for me to get over trained.  I think I have something else wrong.  I will have to see if this B12 thing is the problem.

So I found out I may have a B-12 problem.  Apparently my body may not be processing it and I may need a shot.  Has anyone else had this problem?  What does it mean?  I am hoping it is not a big deal.  I am going to have to have blood work done to find out.  Other than that all is well.  My 40 min of cardio a day has been going well and I am still hitting the weights good.  My left shoulder is getting better but I still have not started therapy for it.  I am supposed to start tomorrow but I may have to cancel.  This will be a very busy week for me.

Donut - Fat man crack!

My workouts were right on target last week and my shoulder is getting better.  I feel better and am optimistic for the first time in a long time.  My diet is getting better and better and my desire to eat better is on the rise.  I still have a lot of cravings for the bad stuff but I seem to keep it someone controlled.  Someone brought donuts in the office last week and I must admit I ate one.  You see a donut is like Fat Cop Crack.  If I dank coffee I would be a typical stereotype.  I pushed myself even harder on the treadmill.  Today I am up to 40 min of cardio so I had better get to it.

I’m Back

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Well I am back from my hunt and back at work.  My eating was not great but not too bad during the trip.  I had some protein shakes with me and some nuts for snacks.  The trip was fun and I did about 2 to 3 hours of walking through the mash each day.  Now that I am back I have been working out and doing my cardio.  I am back on diet.  My left shoulder has been giving me pain so I went to the doctor.  He said I may have a tear but he thought physical therapy could fix it.  Great that’s just what I need, one more thing to do.  Oh well, if I can fix the problem it will be worth it.  Today was shoulders and cardio.  I couldn’t do over the head movements due to pain but I did side laterals, upright rows, shrugs and rear delts.  I hit it hard and did 35 min on the treadmill.  I had to get off the treadmill twice, once because my daughter hit her head on the counter and the second because my son was on the potty with no toilet paper.  Too much info I know.  I got right back on the treadmill as fast as I could and continued with the workout.  Tomorrow is arms I think.
