Changing it up

Well I am still having sugar cravings but not nearly as bad.  I have not done the all protein thing but I still might if the cravings don’t go away.  I am changing my workout.  I am no longer lifting 6 days a week.  It is just too much right now.  I am doing a low rep three to four day a week lifting program.  I will still do cardio 5 to 6 days a week.  I am getting adjusted to my new shift at work and that is making it easier.  Once summer hits and we get real busy at work it will be harder and harder to get in my meals so I am stocking up on pre made MRP’s to eat in the car if I have to. 

 

Today’s workout-

 

Legs-

1.      Leg extensions

2.      Squats

3.      Calf raises

 

Shoulders-

1.      Seated BB Press

2.      Front raises

 

ABS-

1.      Cable crunches

 

I did not do cardio today because I was spending too much time playing with the kids.

 

Diet was OK but not great. (had a slice of cake at work)

Bad bad sugar cravings

I am having the worst carb and sugar cravings.  I have indulged a little too much and feel like if I don’t get back on track I will be screwed.  My workouts have been good but it has been a hard switch back to working nights.  I just have to get back on track with my diet.  I am thinking about doing a no carb diet for a couple of weeks so I can loose the sugar cravings.  I can admit I am addicted to crappy food, but I also know I am better than that.  I am going to work as hard as I can this week to keep it all under control.  I have a lot going on and just need to work through it.  I am looking forward to my workout tomorrow.

Leg Extensions 

Leg Curls 

I also did 20 min on the treadmill.  It was not much but it was better than nothing.  I was a little short on time and had to rush through it.  Tonight is my first shift back on nights.  I think working out will be easier now because I seem to have more time on nights.

Back on the blog

Monday, May 7th, 2007

Well it has been a while since I have updated.  I have been working a lot of hours at work and at home.  I am happy to say I am going back to working nights this week and I can not wait.  The night life is more fun, more interesting and more conducive to working out.  I have made about half of my workouts of late and my diet has been bad.  I am back on track.  I had a great workout today and am looking forward to tomorrows.  I will keep this thing updated better.
