I LOVE THIS! I've seen people using them. Dead weight is a whole new ball game. I have SelecTech 1090s &amp; have already maxed up on a few lifts. This could be a great way to add weight on the cheap. Thanks!

so, it's just the weight of the chains as you come of the floor that adds weight?

ever thought about clipping 2.5's or 5's onto the chains to create a burst of weight as you lift?

Very cool - a local friend of mine was talking about this the other day - your explanation is much better though (we won't tell him). Looks like the chains are working for you! :)

Sorry, I don't know how to reply to your comment at my page - couldn't find the necessary button.////

This is a really good question and although I can’t advocate experimenting on oneself, I do it all the time! I used to get a bunch of the little nitrogen balance strips &amp; use them after various protein meals, different exercises, after fasting, in the morning, etc. I’d take big loads of various proteins &amp; plot my estimated nitrogen balance. I wasn’t happy with the results…but it wasn’t due to the quality of protein. It was usually that I simply wasn’t getting enough. I buy cheap 100% Whey protein from fairly reputable manufacturers. I don’t buy any of the over-hyped stuff. Best of luck! al

Thanks for the reply! I’ve seen your progress photos and they are very dramatic. I don’t hope to achieve such…um…chiseled look and can only bow in respect:)
The question was actually not if the protein works but how to detect counterfeit stuff. The guys sell protein for a reasonable rate - which raises the suspicions, because living in Moscow one expects to pay at least 40-50% more for the imported goods.

Can I ask you a question? I’ve just started full-scale supplementing of protein to my diet. Is it really healthy to ingest 200 grams
