UPS & DOWNS
UPS: Me, last night. Didn't sleep well. To top it off, I got up thinking that my alarm had gone off. Turned on the bathroom light and started getting ready. I glanced over at the bathroom clock.......1am. Never got back to real sleep after that. I'm an idiot.
DOWNS: Me this afternoon as I cling to my good buddy Java Joe......LOL.
UPS: Sook and I had a breakfast date after our workouts this morning.
DOWNS: Toby Mac. He gets down. "And that's 4-realido".
Managed a decent workout this morning, despite the insomnia. Habits......
WORKOUT THIS MORNING --- ARMS & CARDIO:
(6-10 reps, 45-60 sec's between sets)
-- Curlbar curls (8 sets, high reps burnout for last set)
-- Skullcrushers (8 sets, high reps burnout for last set)
-- DB curls (4 sets, high reps burnout for last set)
-- Cable rope pushdowns (4 sets, high reps burnout for last set)
-- SPIN BIKE: 20 min's of varying sprints and hill climbs
JUST GETTING TO THE GYM IS A SUCCESSFUL WORKOUT.
I'm so impressed with your ablility to push through hard training sessions on such little sleep. You're one bad dude.
Sucks that you didn't get any sleep, but kudos to you for getting the work done in the gym. Now getting the work done at work while you cling to Java Joe...nooot to sure. Lol. Just kidding- you'll be fine. But make sure you wind down early tonight so that will hopefully fall asleep at a decent time.
Your workout despite the lack of sleep is proof that lifting is addictive :) Nice work Al!
Always inspirational to see how you push through those periods of time when sleep isn't the best! The workout looks outstanding considering the circumstances. Glad you stayed awake on your breakfast date with the wife! LOL! Have a wonderful day, don't drink too much of the java! Want you to get some great sleep tonight!
Lovely. I'm off to see Enrique Iglesias in concert at the rodeo tonight but I couldn't get up at 5:45 a.m. this morning to workout because I'm such a lazy bum and here you are working out in your sleep! Speaking of which all the NO supplements like Superpump, Black Powder, Jack3d, etc. are fantastic stimulants...especially if you feel sleepy during the day. I don't believe the marketing BS of better workouts but they are quite good at stimulating....
hmm...your neighbors get up for a 2am glass of water?
