Jump rope cardio??!!
Maybe I should learn how to jump rope for cardio. NOT! I’m a bonafide klutz, and would do lots of tripping & face-planting. My wife just sent this to me. It’s a performance of a jump rope team at halftime, of an Army-Navy basketball game at the US Naval Academy. These girls are amazing.
Oh, almost forgot: GO NAVY!

You CAN jump rope Al, it would actually help the coordination…little by little, give it a shot. I loved the way Navy put it on Notre Dame last week…I love everytime the Domers lose anyway

that team is from right here in Cincinnati. Also, my next door neighbor’s daughter is on a nationwide youth jump rope team which was featured in a Disney film. jump rope is a good cardio blaster just a bit hard on the knees for me.

I do it sometimes when I want to get some cardio in and I’m at the laundry Mat. But the pro are the couple in my gym who are amazing at jumping. One, the husband use to be a boxer! And his wife trained him, so they are both amazing.
I don’t even take my rope out when they are around would be too embarrased! LOL!!

Oh Al, I could do that in my sleep…

Give it a whirl Al. You start at 1 and then work up from that. You’ll get the hang of it after a few workouts. Jumping rope between sets turns a regular weight lifting workout into a sweat-filled cardio workout.
