Early bird gets the worm? Woke up around 3am & only dozed, and tossed & turned after that. The only worm I’m getting is a rendezvous with afternoon java. And hopefully not a wake up call like this:

WORKOUT THIS MORNING — ARMS:
(6-9 reps, 60 sec’s rest)
– Curlbar curls (6 sets, last 2 sets superset with DB reverse curls)
– DB curls (5 sets, last 2 sets superset with DB reverse curls)
– DB tricep extensions (6 sets, last 2 sets superset with dips)
– Cable reverse tricep extensions (5 sets, last 2 sets superset with cable rope pushdowns)
CARDIO: 20 min’s HIIT on the stairmaster. HR 160-175.
ABS: Situps on decline situp bench (5 sets, 15 sec’s rest)
Just getting to the gym IS a successful workout!

Al! good job on the workout! Enjoy that cup of java! Im trying to stay away from such things because I have to drown it in cream and that kinda defeats the whole purpose of clean eats and no cheats!

We have a guy down the street that rumbles by at 3:30 am in his Mustang. Why he has to come down the street to leave the neighborhood. And not take the way out just a few houses down from him. I don’t understand. But I think I was able to catch and few more z’s. No worms though.

Heh heh I’ve always loved that video. I have been trying to get off the caffeine, but when doing morning workouts it’s a real burden to do without it.
For the insomnia, there is a BBC documentary out there that follows this people who have insomnia. This one guy had tried everything and still couldn’t fix it. The sleep specialist tells him not to go into his room unless it is to sleep at night. Go to bed and wake up the same time every day. Only stay in the bedroom for 6 hours (i think that is what was said) If you don’t sleep you don’t sleep, get up and go through the day. By the end of week 1 he was starting to sleep. And after a few more weeks he was starting to sleep regularly. This guy was as his wits end and it fixed it for him. They had other techniques for other people on there as well. Let me know if you want the name of the documentary and I can get it.

Thanks Kero80. My issues with sleep have actually improved over the past couple mths. Still have issues about once a week, occasionally twice, but that’s a lot less than I had been struggling with.

That is tough getting a good workout in after a night like that. Way to get it done Al, going to be a long afternoon. Take care my friend and hope you can hit the rack early and stay there through the night.
