Sweathog? :-)
Life is way more fun if you can laugh at yourself. So…….the following: Major sweat puddles in spin class this morning, as usual. I mentioned awhile back that I’m a Sweathog in spin class, and that I’d be Epstein. For you younger bodyspacers, that’s a reference to a character in the 70’s show Welcome Back Kotter. So I found a pic of Epstein, and put a couple of my own 70’s pics up for comparison. I could have been on that show. Or at least Robert Hegyes’ stunt double. Here’s the show’s theme song for nostalgia, for you oldies.

Al won’t be at work today, he is ill.
Signed Epstein’s Mudda

I met Epstein when he was a adjunct professor at my college. I worked in payroll (to earn gas and party money) and handed him his paycheck when he stopped by to pick it up. He’s a nice guy.
I saw him again in the auditorium when we went to see a comedy act. He sat in front of me and a Freshman spotted him and said, "HEY! There’s Horschak!!" Epstein’s friend turned to him and said, "He played Epstein."

That’s funny hearing that song again!!
When you do pull ups, I guess you really do pull ups, eh? Have fun recovering!!! I’m glad you had a great workout this morning. I’m actually going into work this morning. My boss that had brain surgery is back at it. We only go for 4 hours, but its great to have him back!

Awesome workout. you are the Mr. Miagi of pullups.

Good job on those pullups - that’s pretty amazing. I consider myself a bit of a sweathog too, but one of my workout partners is a complete waterbag. After working out just a few minutes, he has a full body sweat going, after 10, he’s leaving puddles. It’s pretty funny. Just make sure you’re drinking enough water to make up for it…

You are a machine, my man!

That’s pretty sick on the pull-ups.
Couldn’t you do just one more to make it an even 80?
If you want to work the lats more, go wide grip on the pull ups.
October 21, 2009 at 7:49 am
Well Don, those WERE wide grip.
Pullups are the only exercise I believe I’m relatively strong in. The rest, not so much. But I’m only competing with me.
