DIET — Don’t be a pansy (Day 60 of 60)
IT’S OFFICIAL……….I’M A CHEATER. I had my 1st cheat, since the end of May, on Friday night. Not a crazy overboard cheat, but the extra carbs fueled a blaster cardio workout Saturday morning. And I managed to avoid cheats at Saturday celebrations for the 4th of July. Today’s the end of the line for the No Pansy Zone Diet. It has served me well since early May. Now, to keep the momentum going on diet discipline through July & August. Destination……..ABS CITY.
WORKOUT THIS MORNING — CHEST:
(Heavy: 5-7 reps, 45-60 sec’s rest)
– Decline bench press (4 sets) – Last set superset w/ decline flyes
– Incline bench press (4 sets) – Last set superset w/ incline flyes
– Flat bench press (4 sets) – Last set superset w/ flyes
– Pec dec machine (3 sets) – Each set superset w/ pushups
CARDIO: 27 min’s sprint intervals on treadmill. Heartrate 155-170.
OBLIQUES: Side bends w/ 10 lb wt (4 sets each side, 10 reps)
ABS: Crunches w/ 20 lb wt (4 sets, last set w/ 2 dropsets)
Just getting to the gym IS a successful workout!

What!? You did not gulped a patriotic burger on July 4th, what would Sam Adams say?
July 6, 2009 at 9:50 am
I did have a burger on the 4th. But it was a grilled burger with bleu cheese, on very thin multigrain bread. No ketchup, condiments, etc. Also had a grilled bratwurst (nothing on it), & some fresh veggies w/ it. No chips, no sweets, etc. And NO Sam Adams……that’s off the menu for the moment, and a person at the gathering has an issue w/ alcohol, so we had none there anyway.
