PT 2: Bouncing back & Endorphins!!
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008I simply cannot say enough to extol the benefits of morning workouts. I’m still feeling energized at 11:30am. I worked out this morning at the gym from 5:10am to 6:30am. Jump starting the day with a morning workout & getting those endorphins swimming their way through the bloodstream simply rocks.
For those who can’t drag themselves out of bed: I used to be a night-owl. It took a little while to make this a habit, but now it’s part of who I am. I often wake up before my alarm, and my workout is a high mark for most days. PLUS, with a wife and 2 awesome daughters (simply the cutest on the planet), exercise after work is not an option for me. AND, there’s nothing to interfere with a 5am or 6am workout. I do admit, however, that I turn into a pumpkin around 8:30-9pm. No important decisions for me late at night!

JUST GETTING TO THE GYM IS A SUCCESSFUL WORKOUT.
