Setting goals
I have been mulling over what my S/T and L/T goals should be for a couple weeks, so here goes:
S/T: Get below 10% BF before year-end.
That’s easily attainable, since my only trouble spot remains the handles on lower back and the abdomen. Giving myself to year-end means I don’t have to put the wife & kiddies through too much hassle with me trying to eat totally different meals. Eating pretty clean, but still within family reason.
L/T: After S/T goal is reached, train for a mini-Triathlon in 2009.
I’m in decent shape at 46, but once I get down to my BF goal, I’m not interested in trying my hand competing in a BB contest. (I could never get up on stage in nothing but a speedo! Yikes.) But, I’d like to challenge myself since I work consistently to stay fit & healthy. So I’m going after a stretch goal.
As always,
JUST GETTING TO THE GYM IS A SUCCESSFUL WORKOUT.

Excellent to make the commitment to attain your goals. You will absolutely achieve both and I will be cheering you on!

Wow! Sounds JUST like my goals. I want to try a triathlon next year, but maybe a sprint tri would be better for me.
