8 Secrets of Successful Skiny to Buff Transformations

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

There are things that all people who succeeded at transforming their body did. All people had the same patterns of behavior that helped them achieve their goals. And I think I’ve found it,  here are those “secret” things people did that lead them to become awesomely built even though they were very skinny and muscle gaining was hard for them!

1. They were determined to do it No Matter What!

Yes, nothing happens if you are not determined to succeed, no matter what happens. You want to have the transformation from skinny to buff? Then prepare to work really hard for some time because it won’t be very easy.

2. It’s a lifestyle, not only a hobby!

In order to succeed you need to change your lifestyle. Other did that too, some had to quit drinking a lot on parties, some had to eat few times at work/school during the day and get laughed at by others because of it, some had to sacrifice a date/hangout with friends in order to get a workout on that day. Everyone had to find the time to get enough of food and to healthy, whole foods (some that they don’t really like). I had to start drinking milk which I didn’t really like when I was a child.

You have to adjust your lifestyle to bodybuilding. Get ready to sacrifice some things in oder to succeed!

3. They were NOT happy with the way they looked and felt!

Maybe something happened and it opened their eyes to the fact that they had to go from skinny to buff. Maybe it was a negative comments from a girl or friends about their looks, or they needed muscles for a sport, or they had ideals and wanted to look like them. Something sparked the fire in them, the fire to change, the fire to workout constantly and eat a lot to finally achieve something good! But they had their OWN reason, try to look for your own reason, ask yourself how going from skinny to buff will improve your life?

4. They ate a lot!

Yes, again, nutrition is 70 percent of gaining muscle. You will achieve NOTHING if you don’t eat. You can have the most grueling workouts and still not gain a pound of muscle if you don’t eat! So EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT….

Did I mentioned that you need to EAT?

5. They were willing to take some criticism for what they did

They became a little selfish so to say. They continued to train and eat properly when their friends had no idea why they’d do so and it looked stupid for them. And I used to be misunderstood by my friends, they’d would look at me with a grin thinking I was a little dumb to work out and gain muscle. Only dumb guys train and have a lot of muscle they were probably thinking. But, I still do, I will do it for sure in the future. You too may have to be critiqued for this, Persist then!

6. They learned a lot

People were interested in weight lifting and how to gain muscle. They were active in forums, were reading bodybuilding books, watching videos, reading interviews with famous bodybuilders and were learning from those people at the gym who had great physiques…

7. They trained HARD

They trained hard, they killed themselves in every workout, gave it all they could. Workouts were intense and BRUTAL! They were exhausted afterwards and could barely walk down the stairs after doing heavy sets of squats… but they still trained hard ever workout!

8. They were not afraid of setbacks

Setbacks will happen. Shit happens in life… Be prepared. If you gained a kilo one month and lost two on other month (happened to me :( ) don’t let yourself to give up. Gain those kilos back. You can do it. Don’t let some small challenge to stop you from achieving incredible transformation!

These are the things I noticed, if I forgot something, I will definitely post it in the future. My goal is to help you guys go from skinny to buff along with me so that in the future we could all be proud of what we did ;)

This is a post I wrote on my blog and I think it is accurate description of what people did. I’m am sure gonna do it and I will be  a guy who has done an incredible transformation!

Best of luck

Adrian

I’m going for it!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, April 17th, 2009

It’s been some time since I’ve been here but I’ve been busy while creating a business for myself related to bodybuilding! I get to do what I love and to get paid in the future. I started a blog at www.36pounds.com for all skinny guys like me. I collect the best content there to make gaining muscle easier for myself and others! In this way I get to contribute to the world and help others.

On other note I’m doing well. I’m also looking for a job and goind to gym. Training is great and I have a workout partner to ask for help if I need it. That’s a good advantage…

Cheers, Adrian

OK, I’m in Ireland

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

Everything is so strange, cars driving the wrong direction, lots of fat people, not the prettiest women, new place and totally unknown area :D wow, I’m little overwhelmed now.. I’m looking for a job now.

I already joined a gym. It’s big, it’s popular with people, lots of them there.. Thank goodness my new neighbours are going there too so I have some company there… It feels good to be back at the gym after a weeks absence!!

Eating crisis

Monday, March 9th, 2009

I have no apetite… totally… don’t want to eat at all… now that’s crisis :D shioots… If I eat I eat a little. I’m not gonna gain weight this month probably. It’s almost 10 PM… I’ve eaten like… just 3 times today… that’s bad.

Ok, I decided to run to the shop quickly now… maybe I’ll find something apetizing…

Cheers

Crap.. didn’t get to finish a workout

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Damn.. I didn’t finish it I just did half of it and administrator came in and asked to leave the place…shit.. I’m little pissed off..but I understand her she wants to leave on time on Friday evening…and I could have come earlier…arrrgh…. now it’s time to go to eat…

Back to workout. Feeling better

Monday, February 9th, 2009

So today I was back at workout and it went good. I feel good I feel like I did what I was supposed to do today after going to workout. Refreshed. I guess I wasn’t at full strength after about a week of no workouts…I was barely catching breath after 5 sets of squats, 5 sets of overhead presses and 3 sets of deadlifting…. wow…

To get myself motivated I watched my favorite vids on BodySpace, listened to some music that gets me pumped up a  bit and off I went. After I got out the door I was in little trance state, there was nothing else just the path to my gym… Didn’t really think about anything else for long, just gym.. gym.. gym.. go…go…go..  :)

Yeah.. I’m  happy..

Cheers,
Adrian

Lost motivation

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Never thought this would happen… Damn.. I slacked off two workouts this week… just one instead of three… I have achieved only a third of what I want and I’ve hit a plateu now…Crap… Although I can say I’m pretty happy with results so far.. pretty good doesn’t satisfy me completely though… there is still hell of a lot work to do, hell of a lot kilos to gain…

But, I believe I’ll be back at workouts soon at full strenght… I’ll look at some pics, some vids of bodies I like and imagine how I’ll look in the future.. that should help… I also think I’ll write a blog on how to stay motivated for people who have hard time staying so … maybe it will help someone.
Cheers
